Miguel Matias joins Vampire Racing

Multiple Portuguese National Champion, former European Champion and multiple European and World Championship podium finisher Miguel Matias recently joined the Vampire Racing factory team through to 2014 to run the company’s 1/10th and 1/8th brushless motor and speed controllers along the Vampire Racing line of high performance LiPo battery packs. Miguel already used the components during the 1/10th Buggy Euros and the recent Neo Race with great success.

Team Titan Blitz F101 race body

Team Titan introduce their first ever Formula 1 body shell in the form of the Blitz F101. Incorporating a modern high nose design, it includes an integrated moulded driver figure, and it is made from 1.0mm polycarbonate for high rigidity while being light of weight at the same time. The body fits most of today’s formula 1 chassis, comes clear, including a decal sheet and without front or rear wing.

Yokomo SD Sport 4WD touring car

Yokomo now have the SD Sport 4WD sport-level touring car kit available. Based on Yokomo’s drift chassis the SD Sport features standard drivetrain and suspension components making it ideal for cost-efficient touring car racing. The car is based on a moulded composite tub chassis and features an efficient shaft drivetrain, aluminium die-cast motor mount, front spool axle, rear ball differential, double wishbone suspension, moulded shock absorbers, and full ball bearings. By using optional drivetrain components and drift tyres the chassis can also be converted back to a drift car. The kit comes as rolling chassis without electronics, tyres or body shell.

Ride Pro Matched 23mm big bore touring car springs

Ride introduce the Pro Matched short big bore springs for electric touring cars. With the current trend of using low-profile shock towers and shorter shock absorbers conventional 25mm springs are too long to achieve a proper ride height. Therefore Ride now have 23mm long offerings available with an inner diameter of 15mm and an outer diameter of 18mm. The colour-coded springs come with plastic spacer rings for a wobble-free fit, are individually checked and matched to guarantee an equal spring rate and fit a wide range of touring car chassis. Ride advises that owners of cars that use 20mm springs may have to with check ride height compatibility.

Much More Racing introduce replacement stators for the Fleta ZX line of brushless motors. Included in the variants available are 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T Type-W offerings as well as a 13.5T Type-S stator. They are a direct fit for all Fleta ZX cans and ideal to replace a damaged stator. You can also use them to upgrade an existing motor doing away with the need to buy a totally new one.

Team Associated RC10 Classic accessories

In the wake of the RC10 Classic release Team Associated introduce the first option parts for the iconic 2WD buggy. Available soon are a steering bellcrank set that offers increase rigidity and less slop than the kit set-up, transmission and axle ball bearing sets to replace the kit’s brass bushings, 1/4″ and 13/16″ CVA axles as well as a black-colour nose plate, main chassis and transmission plate. On top of this come 2.2″ wheel conversion kits for the front and the rear allowing to use modern 2.2″ buggy wheels and tyres. The kits include new steering knuckles, wheel hubs, shafts and bearings. All parts become available till October.

Yokomo Europe B-Max2 brass front bulkhead

After releasing an 11g brass insert for the front bulkhead of the B-Max2 buggy Yokomo Europe now introduce a complete brass suspension mount. The bulkhead is machined from a single piece of brass and weights 50g in total. It is designed to add weight to the front end of the buggy, a tuning option that can be useful for both rear and mid motor buggies when running on high grip surfaces. The part is a direct replacement and available now.
