Jessica Palsson wins at RC Meeting

The RC Meeting race was held in 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes at the FRCK Furulund club in Sweden this past weekend. In the 2WD Buggy class it was Jessica Palsson with a clean sweep in the triple qualifiers, leaving behind Micke Palsson and Pontus Magnusson in 2nd and 3rd respectively. The triple A-main events again saw Jessica excel and with pretty dominant performances in all three A-finals she would secure the overall from Mike in 2nd and Jonas Johansson in 3rd.

Anthony Westergaard sweeps Easy Money Race

The 4th Annual Easy Money Race was held at Thunder Alley R/C Raceway of Beaumont, California this past weekend. The event attracted 65 entries and in the Open Nitro Buggy class it was Anthony Westergaard with the overall TQ and also the win in the 25-minute A-main event, leaving behind Dylan Nelson on the runner-up spot, a lap down. Tyler Brown would come in 3rd, some 22 seconds behind Dylan.

JP Richards TQs & wins at Ice Breaker race

Bill’s RC Hobby Shop And Raceway of Marion, Indiana held their Ice Breaker race this past weekend, attracting 85 entries. 2WD Modified Buggy saw JP Richards taking the day’s win, starting from pole position into the single 6-minutes A-main event. Ean Reilley came in 2nd, some 7.8 seconds behind as Adam Rayls rounded out the top 3 podium result.

Pillars doubles at Rockstar Winter Off-Road Series Rd1

The opening round of the 11th Annual Rockstar Winter Off-Road Series hosted by PDX RC Underground saw an impressive 80 entries for the seven classes. In the 2WD Modified Buggy category it was Yokomo’s Joe Pillars with the overall TQ and win from Xray’s Travis Harker on the 2 spot. Yokomo’s Tanner Day would complete the top 3 result.

Riccardo Berton sweeps annual Pierrefeu GP

The Var Automodelisme Pierrefeu club in France played host to the the annual Pierrefeu GP this past weekend. The event attracted the usual breed of national and international drivers and in both 1/8th Nitro Buggy and 1/8th Electric Buggy it was Kyosho’s Riccardo Berton with the overall TQ after the triple qualifiers. Unfortunately soaking wet weather made it impossible to run the finals, meaning the overall results would be based on the qualifying results, handing Ricciardo a double win as Xray’s Yannick Aigoin and Patrick Auvinet Jr. came completed the top 3 results.

Xray Racing Series Australia – Announcement

Xray have announced the Xray Racing Series Australia Off-road will be held on the 1st of December at the Castle Hill off-road track. The race sees the running of 2WD Modified, 2WD 17.5T, 4WD Modified, 4WD 13.5T as well as 1/10th 4WD Truggy and Junior classes and more information can soon be found here.

Campeonato Cordobes Rd4 – Report

The AeroNorte Rosario track in Funes, Argentine played host to round 4 of the Campeonato Cordobes series last weekend. The event was held in several 1/8th off-road classes and in Buggy Pro it was Nicolas Bregante with the overall TQ and he would also come out on top in the 45-minute A-main, some five laps in front of runner-up, Martin Crivello. Federico Rinaudo came in 3rd to round out the top 3 results.

Kyle Turner doubles at Harvest Classic

Empire RC Raceway of Brentwood, California held their annual Harvest Classic race last weekend, attracting over 100 entries for the multiple 1/8th off-road and single 4×4 SCT classes. In Expert Nitro Buggy it was Kyosho’s CJ Jelin with the overall TQ from Team Associated’s Gonzalo Cortez on the runner-up spot. In the 45-minute main there was some close battling in the first couple laps for the top spot between the top guys. When everything got more spread out Kyle Turner (Xray) and CJ Jelin had a good battle going back and forth once again for about ten to 15 minutes until CJ had a mechanical problem. Throughout the main Kyle had a pretty consistent run, mixed with some mistakes, but he still drove pretty well and ended up taking the win in the end as Gonzalo came in 2nd, some four laps down and Steve Noack (Kyosho) came in 3rd, another three laps behind.
