Olly Jefferies wins Schumacher BTCC finale

Fresh from winning the recent BRCA Halifax national, Olly Jefferies continued his wining ways by taking victory at this season’s Schumacher BTCC finale. Qualifying in changing conditions the Associated driver was quickest in every round of qualifying and set a new track record for the West London GP layout. He lined up ahead of young Tamiya star Elliott Harper and Schumacher’s Chris Grainger for the two leg finals. A clean sweep of both A finals gave Olly the overall victory and some valuable track time in preparation for the final BRCA national being held at West London in two weeks. Chris Grainger finished second ahead of his Schumacher team mate Colin Price. In the Pro stock class James Hart took the win for Schumacher with Malcolm Hall taking the stock class. Being the final round of the series the championship was decided in favor of Chris Grainger in Super Touring with James Hart taking the Pro Stock title and Zak Finlay was confirmed as stock class winner.
