7075 Awesomatix-specific Kill Bill Air Killer

7075 Special Parts have introduced their new Awesomatix-specific Kill Bill Air Killer vacuum pump. The tool was specifically designed for the roll dampers of the Awesomatix A700 and A800 cars and due to their design, the vacuum pump is of a much lower height compared to 7075’s on-road and off-road variants. The pump was developed to quickly and conveniently remove unwanted air bubbles from freshly filled or maintained dampers and gear diffs, making building, setup and maintenance a breeze. The tool is made of high-quality 7075 aluminium and it comes black anodised and machined and marked recesses for the dampers and diff.

RCSS A800 Next Level hybrid ceramic bearings

RC Speed Secrets have introduced a set of Next Level hybrid ceramic ball bearings for the Awesomatix A800 series of touring cars. The kit includes 14 high-performance ball races that scrub about 21 percent of weight compared to popular ABEC-3 ceramic bearings while the stainless steel construction ensures high corrosion resistance. Overall the hybrid ceramic bearings will slightly reduce natural drivetrain drag for improved acceleration and top speed while reducing motor and speedo temperatures.

Awesomatix A800FX FWD touring car – Prototype images

Awesomatix’s Max Mächler has released a couple of images of the company’s A800FX touring FWD prototype. The car builds on the A800X 4WD tourer, however a new chassis layout and belt-driven front wheel drive gearbox greatly change the appearance compared to the previous prototype that saw an unconventional “behind the front wheels” motor position. The new prototype is now a lot more up to date with current designs in terms of weight balance while the Awesomatix’s signature rotation dampers make for the very low overall centre of gravity that the original 4WD tourer takes profit of. The car is still in prototype stages with a lot of ideas still in the pipeline.
