Ruddog 4000mAh 7.4V 50C LiIon stick pack battery

Ruddog have introduced their new 4000mAh 7.4V 50C LiIon stick battery pack that was developed for the use with ready-to-run cars or starter boxes. Measuring 139×46.5x25mm and weighing in at 225g the battery offers a low weight and high capacity, making it ideal to power cars, buggies and trucks as well as nitro starter boxes where the oval shape hardcase makes for easy adding to existing NiMH “Racing Pack” battery compartments. Using the Lithium-Ion cell technology for durability, the battery uses the same charging CC/CV charging settings as a 7.4V LiPo battery and it comes pre-wired with an industry-standard XH balance port and a T-type power connector.

Ruddog R2090 & R2100 tuned exhaust pipe sets

Ruddog Distribution from Germany have introduced their all-new R2090 and R2100 tuned exhaust pipe sets for 1/8th off-road applications. The R2090 EFRA2089 exhaust was designed to increase bottom end torque, making it ideal for smaller, more technical tracks, when needing to clear jumps or for somewhat heavier off-road truggies. It comes including a 75mm manifold, high-quality silicone gaskets and mounting springs.

Ruddog 1/8th scale nitro offroad starter box

Ruddog have introduced their new 1/8th nitro off-road starter box that is of a universal design to cover all 1/8th off-road needs. Housed in a sturdy, black-coated aluminium case the heavy-duty starter box is powered by two 775-size motors with the durable belt-driven starter wheel allowing for an easy and convenient start of both run-in and also brand-new nitro engines. The starter box was developed for the use with two 2S LiPo battery packs and it comes pre-wired with T-type connectors. Highly adjustable stopper cones allows to adapt the starter box to pretty much every 1/8 scale off-road chassis. Laser-etched Ruddog logos and a handle with glow igniter holder round out the package.

Made by the leading Japanese manufacturer for model car engines, the high-quality Turbo-style glow plug offers exceptional low to mid-range power and quicker response to throttle inputs, allowing for quicker spool up and also more stable idling. The glow plug is available as a single item or 12-piece set.

Ruddog 500ml lightweight fuel bottle

Ruddog have introduced their new 500ml fuel bottle. The high-quality all-plastic construction is very lightweight as not only the bottle itself but also the neck is made of high-quality plastic material, ensuring effortless handling even in crowded and hectic pit situations. The soft material of the bottle ensures quick yet precise refuelling and included with the grey colour bottle comes a suitable bottle neck cap.

Ruddog Crawler 5-slot & 3-slot brushed motors

Made for all crawler enthusiast are the Ruddog Crawler 540-class brushed motors. Available in 5-slot and 3-slot specification and in a total of six different winding variants, the dual ball-raced motors feature adjustable timing, plated end bells, replaceable motor brushes and springs, brush heatsink towers and they are fully rebuildable if needed. The adjustable timing allows to adapt and optimise the motors for drivetrains that require reverse motor rotation operation. The motors are available in 13T, 16T or 20T 5-slot configuration for smoother throttle response and also as 35T, 45T and 55T 3-slot variants for improved overall power.

Ruddog RP541 540 sensored brushless motor

Ruddog Distribution from Germany have announced the release of their all-new RP541 540-size sensored high-performance brushless motor. Designed and engineered in Germany the motor utilises a completely new design with a lightweight aluminium can ensuring a low weight of only around 153g while the new slotless stack design ensures increased performance and efficiency due to the lack of performance-killing milling for the long motor can mounting screws. This was made possible by using a new can design with a 1-piece front section and a short rear can that uses vertical mounting screws. Also new for the RP541 is a machined collector ring that comes silver-plated for the modified variants while the stock motor specific ring is gold-plated for an even lower internal resistance. Other differences between the stock and modified motors include performance enhancing ceramic ball races for the stock motor while the modified motor is equipped with high-qualify steel ball bearings. Part of the package are also optimised magnets that are able to withstand higher temperatures for longer, ensuring less power fading during a run while increasing overall durability. The magnets are also optimised for the RP541’s new slotless stack design. The motors are rounded out by new low-resistance solder tabs and a flat 150mm sensor wire and they are available as 4.5T to 9.5T modified, 6.5T 1S 1/12th scale modified as well as 10.5T to 21.5T stock variants.

Ruddog 6000mAh & 4100mAh Graphene Plus LiHV packs

New from Ruddog Distribution’s own Ruddog brand are two LCG high-performance LiHV battery packs. First up is the 6000mAh 7.6V 100C Graphene Plus LCG Stick Pack LiHV, a standard size stick battery of 22.5mm height. The low centre of gravity battery allows to lower the car’s overall centre of gravity for improved cornering speeds especially in high-bite track conditions while the high-quality 100C Graphene Plus technology cells ensure a very low internal resistance and thus improved overall power, runtime and exceptional cell durability. The battery weighs in at 260g and it utilises 5mm bullet-type connectors.
