Made for 1/8th scale GT cars or 1/8th buggies run on asphalt are the new GT-802 tyres from Teamsaxo. They are moulded from a special compound that has fibres mixed into it to reduce tyre expansion at high speeds or when the tyre temperature raises. A special V-shape tread improves traction on permanent and parking lot tracks and the tyre comes pre-mounted on durable white or black multi-spoke nylon rims.
Teamsaxo introduce two new tool sets for the use with quick exchange tool grips or electric drills. The sets are available as imperial and metric variant, both include a range of different sizes and tip designs including cross wrenches, standard and ball hex drivers as well as nut drivers. The hardened tips can be used with the supplied aluminium quick exchange grips or standard electric drills. Both sets come in handy transparent boxes for convenient storage and transportation.
Teamsaxo have introduced this roll-spring set for pan cars which includes three pairs of super soft to super hard springs. The black version is super-hard, silver is medium-hard and gold is soft, designed to be adaptable to various road conditions. The springs are made from high quality durable spring steel and are of course coloured for easy identification.
Team Saxo introduce the new carbon fibre rear wing plates for 1/10 formula chassis. Each set includes two side plates designed to replace the standard plastic parts on the company’s rear wing with more durable, lighter and cooler looking items. The plates are cut from 1.5mm carbon fibre sheets and allow to adjust the angle of the upper wing element with two different side plate designs, one straight and one curved end, being available.
Team Saxo introduce their new Formula 1 body shell for most of today’s formula chassis. It features a narrow cab and sharp front end design to maximise airflow and minimising drag in order to help with top speed on flowing high speed tracks. The side pods are specially designed to allow for good aerodynamics and enough room for the electronics at the same time. The unnamed body will become available from beginning of November.
Available soon from Team Saxo is the F1-200 ‘wide’ pan car chassis kit. Building on a carbon fibre chassis with link-type rear suspension the kit includes a 200mm wide front suspension for foam tyre racing with lower carbon and upper composite A-arms, sliding aluminium servo mount, upper carbon fibre battery plate, large volume central shock, single tube roll damper and aluminium motor mount. The chassis plate sports milled-out sections to route the servo and ESC receiver wires in and the car is usable with standard and shorty-size LiPo battery packs with the latter allowing the speed controller to be mounted in-line with the battery pack.
