VBC Lightning10 200mm World GT pan car – Preview

Available from October is VBC Racing’s new Lightning10 200mm World GT pan car kit. No exact details and specifications are known yet but looking at the preview CAD renderings the car seems to feature some nice details such as a machined battery and electronics compartment for a lower centre of gravity, the main chassis offers different cut-outs to mount optional brass weights in and several mounting positions for the steering servo allow for the use of both standard and 1/12th scale sized steering servos. The link-type car offers dual roll dampers and the front end is of a highly adjustable design. More information will become available soon.

EMR Factory Wildfire D06 rear hubs

EMR Factory released their new aluminium rear hubs for the VBC Wildfire D06 touring sedan. The hubs are machined from high quality 7075 aluminium and feature an additional outer camber link location for more rear traction. The red anodised and laser-etched parts are available in 0 degree and 0.5 degree versions.

VBC Firebolt DM carbon chassis & alloy wheel hexes-1

From VBC Racing for their new Firebolt DM buggy are a new carbon fibre main chassis, an aluminium steering rack and front and rear aluminium wheel hexes. The chassis is made from 2.5mm carbon fibre and made to give the buggy different torsional flex characteristics that can be helpful in lower bite conditions. It is also lighter which can be beneficial especially in Stock racing classes.

VBC Firebolt DM arm mount & front axles

From VBC Racing for their new Firebolt DM buggy is a new front suspension arm mount and hardened integrated front axles. The arm mount has been made from lightweight aircraft grade 7075 aluminium alloy, weighing only 11 grams, and features an extra attachment hole for mounting a brass weight which is sold separately. The hardened integrated front axles feature a one piece design and are made using ultra strong spring steel with integrated drive hex.

Yugo Nagashima joins VBC Racing

Multiple champion and JMRCA touring car national A-main finalist Yugo Nagashima recently joined VBC Racing, the company announced. Yugo will VBC’s latest touring car kit at this week’s 2014 touring car nationals and during his upcoming campaign.

VBC release new Firebolt DM option parts

VBC Racing have four new option parts for the Firebolt DM buggy available in the form of aluminium steering bellcranks, a hard-coated aluminium idler gear and two sets of rear suspension mount spacers. Starting with the aluminium steering bellcranks, the parts are machined from lightweight 7075 aluminium and they offer improved stability over the stock levers for a more direct steering response and added durability. The parts come red anodised and are a direct replacement.

Beamcat VBC D06 quick release battery mount

New from Beamcat for the VBC D06 chassis is the quick release battery mount. With mounting brackets made from 7075 aluminium and using high strength industrial grade velcro, the system is a direct fit to the D06 chassis without any modification replacing the need to use tape to hold down the battery.

VBC Racing Firebolt DM options

VBC Racing have introduced some new option parts for the newly released Firebolt DM Buggy. First up are front and rear springs in medium-soft green and medium-hard orange as well as a line of TiNi coated front and rear shock shafts, suspension pins and kingpins. Finally there is a new graphite piece to replace the kit steering strut in the car.
