VBC Racing WildfireD08 chassis flex options

VBC Racing have introduced two new option parts to adjust the chassis flex of the WildfireD08 touring car. First up is the Motor Mount Mod Flex set that provides less chassis flex than the stock setup. It utilises a 2-piece alloy post that is equipped with a rubber O-ring to create a medium flex setting as it connects the top deck with the motor mount but the floating connection makes for less flex than a rigid 1-piece post. The second new part and making for the stiffest chassis flex setting is the 1-piece Motor Mount Post set. It directly connects the top deck with the motor mount to stiffen up the mid section of the chassis. The posts are cut from high-quality aluminium, they come red anodised and include the needed mounting hardware.

VBC WildfireD08 gold-compound suspension parts

VBC Racing have released new gold-compound suspension parts for the Wildfire D08 touring car. Available are lower A-arms, C-hubs, steering knuckles and rear uprights all made from a new hard compound whose use can be beneficial in a range of racing conditions such as high ambient temperatures or very high traction. All parts sport a gold-colour dot for easy identification. Also new are two suspension mount shim sets for the outer 1-piece and inner split suspension brackets. They are cut from black fibre glass and each pack includes two 1.0mm and two 0.5mm shims for swift and easy roll centre adjustments.

VBC Racing Wildfire D08 touring car kit

VBC Racing have introduced the latest incarnation of the Wildfire touring car, the D08. It is based off of the successful D07, adapting most of its features although subtle revisions will make for a more versatile, more durable and even faster car. The D08 builds on a redesigned 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis with minimal cut-outs, providing totally new flex characteristics with the chassis being able to torsionally flex throughout its entire length and not just in the middle of the car, resulting in higher corner speeds and more confidence when going through the corner.

VBC Firebolt DM2 2WD mid-motor off-road buggy

Coming soon from VBC Racing is the Firebolt DM2 2WD mid-motor buggy kit. Especially designed for high-grip astroturf and carpet tracks the buggy features a low centre of gravity design with a new single rear chassis strut for more linear flex and roll of the 7075 aluminium chassis. The upper deck and battery mount is made from carbon fibre while the 2.5mm alloy chassis chassis allows to mount saddle, standard, square and shorty packs with the latter being shiftable forth and back in order to improve the chassis balance. Also included are 3.7mm front and rear shock towers, a lightweight motor plate, reinforced idler gear and high-torque ball differential as well as aluminium suspension parts such as lower arm mounts, rear bulkhead, 12mm big bore shock bodies and more. The kit should become available by December.

VBC Racing LightningF alloy steering knuckles

VBC Racing have released a set of optional aluminium steering knuckles for the LightiningF and FX formula cars. Machined from high-quality 7075 material and coming gun metal anodised the parts provide smoother kingpin travel, and they improve rigidity and durability of the front end. The knuckles must be used in conjunction with the company’s new hardened steel front axles but apart from that they are a drop fit for the F and FX kits.

VBC Racing LightningFX 1/10th formula car kit

Coming soon from VBC Racing is the LightningFX 1/10th scale formula car. The highly tuneable car allows to adapt the setup easily to a range of track conditions and driving styles. Starting at the front end the car features a reactive caster system with the upper arm length being adjustable using different thickness shims to alter corner mid and exit steering. The wheelbase is adjustable in a range from 264mm to 268mm without the need for extra parts and the 2-piece steering bellcrank allows for easy Ackermann adjustments.

VBC Racing Firebolt RM rear arm mounts

VBC Racing have new optional rear arm mounts for the Firebolt RM buggy available. Coming as 2.0, 2.5 and 4.0 degree variant the parts are made from high-quality aluminium, they are laser-etched for easy identification and help to fine-tune the rear end grip and traction of the buggy on various track surfaces.

VBC Racing Ghost Evo RM Spec touring car kit

VBC Racing have introduced the new Ghost Evo RM Spec 1/10th 4WD touring car kit. Released to celebrate the success of Australian National Champion Ryan Maker the RM Spec kit features a load of upgrades and options such as the Ghost Evo camber link adjusters, a 2-piece joint axle drive kit, X/Y-C05 and C0 centre suspension mounts, the Wildfire suspension shim set, Titanium-coated upright shafts, suspension pins and shock shafts, self lubricating shaft end shoes and more. Other features are taken over from the standard Ghost Evo kit such as the carbon fibre chassis and shock towers, large travel aluminium shock absorbers, oiled low-friction and rubber sealed ball bearings as well as aluminium turnbuckles.
