Xray Large-sized pit towels

Xray have released two new large-sized pit towels, perfect for the pit tables of 1/10 and 1/8 scale model cars. Made of heavy-duty cloth material they come in two versions with full-color printed graphics.

Tom & Jochen Wiesner join Team SMI

SMI Motorsport have announced that father and son team, Tom and Jochen Wiesner, have both made the switch to use Xray cars, Hudy accessories as well as the complete SMI / Orcan range including engines, fuel and maintenance products. They will both compete regionally, in the Mid division (Hessencup), as well as in the German championship in Sand and Fischach. Both, Tom and Jochen Wiesner, are very experienced and successful racers and had the following to say about the deal:

We are confident in the products and their quality and wish a lot success and good cooperation with the very successful SMI Team.

Xray Premium-quality ceramic balls

Xray have released a set of 12 premium-quality ceramic balls made from extra-hard Si3N4 silicone nitride ceramic. Available in 2.4mm and 3.175mm they significantly improve differential lifespan while reducing friction and vibration. High-speed ceramic diff balls have very high durability, when properly lubricated, due to reduced slip and heat and with ceramic being approximately 60% lighter than steel, ceramic diff balls have a significantly lower rotating mass.

Juraj Hudy selected as Entrepreneur of the Year

Xray have announced that owner and chief designer Dipl. Eng. Juraj Hudy has been selected as Entrepreneur of the Year in Innovations in an annual contest. This highly profilic and prestigious contest is organized world wide by Ernst & Young and only the best companies and business people are nominated to this highly competitive contest where the jury selects the winners based on very tough criteria. Based on this very strict criteria, previous business achievements, and work over the years, Juraj was selected into the main final in Slovakia and at the official ceremony held in February 2010 was announced as Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 in Innovations and at the same time received the award for Best Success Story.

Xray 2010 Hooded Sweater & Cap
