Coming from Yokomo and made for the YD-2 series of drift cars is a solid axle set. Sporting the standard gear diff case the set includes a solid inner block that couples the outdrives to create a solid axle setup with makes for a more aggressive drift while increasing traction at the same time. Using the axle also makes for quicker transitions on high-grip surfaces. The axle set is usable with the YD-2 and YD-2 Plus kits.

Made from high-performance 90C cells and coming in a protective hardcase with 5mm bullet-type connectors, the batteries target club and intermediate level racers that seek affordable yet performance driven products. T-Works have introduced a new hard foam bumper suitable for the Yokomo BD7, BD7’16, & BD8. The new bumper extends 6mm further out the front to eliminate the need to apply additional foam pieces when the body shell is mounted further forward on the car.

Italian company BMT have introduced a new range of tools, including a turnbuckle tool, wrench set and glow plug spanner. Made from high quality materials, the turnbuckle tool set includes changeable tips with M3, M4 and M5 included, while the hex head wrench set including 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 & 3.0mm wrenches, all with a knurled easy to grip handle. Finally, the glow plug tool is your standard affair with 8.0mm and 10mm socket wrenches as well as a 5.0mm hexagon wrench.

New from Hobbywing for their XeRun XR10 Pro ESC comes this optional top case. A direct replacement for the standard aluminium top case, this new version has a larger heatsink footprint, and so accepts a larger diameter fan than the standard version, as well as featuring taller fins for more surface area to improve cooling. In testing with their team drivers this optional item showed a significant drop in operating temperatures for the ESC which makes it ideal for tracks where the speedo would normally run hotter. Available in anodised black or orange.
