Ultimate Racing M3S nitro off-road engine

Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate Racing M3S nitro off-road engine. The O.S. made long-stroke power plant was developed to combine high torque with extreme power and a low fuel consumption, something that was achieved by using a redesigned carburettor that sports a new high speed needle holder for optimised mixture flow, better idling stability and increased mileage. Furthermore the new carburettor features a new uniball joint with two mounting screws for easier angle adjustment. Also new is an updated crankshaft with silicone filling and tungsten balancing while the DLC coating improves the lifespan of the crankshaft and crankshaft pin. Part of the new package is also a 3-port liner and piston assembly for smooth, linear yet high power supply and the updated CNC-machined and red anodised backplate made of 7075-T6 aluminium for reduced friction. Thanks to its design the backplate is now also easier to remove. The M3S engine is rounded out by high-quality Japanese-made ceramic bearings and 6.0mm and 6.5mm venturi inserts.

RDRP XB4 aluminium caster block sets

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new caster block sets for the Xray XB4 series of 1/10th scale 4WD buggies. An improvement over the original construction the hubs allow to easily adjust the camber link ball stud position and thus camber link length and roll centre by simply adding or removing shims. The multi-piece design was used on rear uprights before and is now available for the front hubs. While offering the standard kit geometry the hubs also allow to run shorter links which can be beneficial in a range of track conditions. The lightweight design and aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium adds only minimal unsprung weight while still being sturdy and durable. RDRP’s C-hubs are usable on all XB4-series buggies and they are available in a 9 degree or 12 degree variant to adjust the corner characteristics of the buggy.

TMG Speed ride height gauge & slider

TMG Speed have introduced their new ride height gauge and slider. The height gauge is adjustable between 15mm and 20mm but comes with two seats – one 5mm and one 10mm. This allows adjustment from 15mm to 30mm which is ideal for 1/10th and 1/8th applications. Also available now is the TMG slider which fits around the height gauge to easily allow to position the gauge without trying to reach under the car and getting a false height adjustment for the vehicle. The slider will also work well with TMG’s soon to be released 10mm to 15mm height gauge for indoor carpet setups.
