Ultimate M-4R Tuned Ceramic Team Edition engine

Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate M-4R Tuned Ceramic Team Edition nitro off-road engine. Based off of the proven M-4R Tuned the engine comes built in-house at Modelix Racing, it is thoroughly checked and also completely broken-in using a state of the art process that checks temperature, RPM, torque and break-in time. Constant lubrication ensures minimised stress on all parts, resulting in increased engine life. After the run-in process the engine is being disassembled and checked again to ensure the highest possible quality and performance.

JConcepts B6 & B64 lightweight hex adapter sets

JConcepts have introduced their new lightweight hex adapter sets for the Team Associated B6 and B64 buggy kits as well as the T5M truck. The hex adaptors are precision machined, blue or black anodised and feature a slim design eliminating unnecessary rotating weight. Some of the mass is reduced from the hex with included pockets incorporating a new touch. The clamping design and lightweight styling provide utmost durability and all-important functionality. The adapters are available in a range of offsets including 5.0mm which is the stock setting in the rear of the B64 while the 7.0mm variant is the standard setting of the B6. Also available is a 8.5mm set for the T5M with the 6.0mm adapter providing a slightly narrower adjustment to the B6 – ideal for inner pivot adjustments and setups.

VRP B64 adjustable aluminium bellcrank arm

Coming from VRP and made for the Team Associated B64 buggy is an adjustable aluminium bellcrank arm. It is machined out of American 7075 grade aluminium, anodised in house at VRP and it comes with silver edge details for looks. The arm offers the option to adjust the ballstud one position forward or back while also featuring the stock centre location. The part is a direct replacement for the standard kit arm.

EZPower 8200mAh 2S Graphene LiHV battery pack

Italian brand EZPower have introduced their new 8200mAh 7.6V 2S Graphene LiHV battery pack. Built from high-performance 140C/70C high-voltage Lithium-Polymer cells the battery offers extremely long runtimes even in power-hungry classes such as Touring Modified and 1/8th off-road. The standard size 25.1mm pack makes use of 4mm gold-plated connectors and it weighs in at 325g.

Serpent SRX8E aluminium servo arms

Coming from Serpent and made for the Cobra SRX8E buggy are new aluminium servo arms. The arms are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and they are of a clamping heavy duty design that improves steering response especially on high-bite surfaces. They are direct replacements for the standard composite parts and available in 23T, 24T and 25T specification.

Xray XB8 series anti-roll bar wires

Xray have expanded their range of anti-roll bar wires for the XB8 series of buggies, trucks and cars by three front and two rear variants. Available for the front are the thin 1.6mm, 1.8mm and 2.0mm wires while the rear range is complemented by thin 1.8mm and 2.0mm variants. All are made using high-quality spring steel, they come laser-engraved for easy identification and fit the XB8 buggy, XT8 truck and GTX8 on-road kit.

Buggyland 4.0 – Announcement

The Buggyland 4.0 1/8th off-road race will be held from the 15th to 17th of September at the CARTT Fuencarral track in Madrid, Spain. The 3-day event, widely known as the country’s season highlight, will see 1/8th Nitro and Electric Buggy racing, attracting Spain’s fastest drivers as well as many entries from abroad. Roy Gjemble successful at Norwegian Buggy Nats Rd3

This past weekend the third round of the 2017 Norwegian 1/10th Off-Road Buggy Nationals was hosted by the Innherred RC-Bil Klubb at the IHRC Raceway astroturf track in Levanger, Norway. After the initial shake down and instalment free practice Friday evening, Saturday was 2WD race day. Three rounds of qualifying were ran and it was Schumacher driver Roy Gjemble who took his Schumacher KC to the overall TQ position. Øystein Døler (Team Associated) qualified 2nd, Thorbjørn Døler (Team Associated) came in 3rd, and the young and talented 11-years old Alexander Gjemble (Team Associated) claimed 4th on the grid for the A-finals.
