Sanwa PGS-LH SSL programmable low-profile servo

Sanwa have released first information on their forthcoming PGS-LH SSL programmable telemetry low-profile servo. The high-voltage compatible device will pull up to 15.6kg-cm of torque at speeds of down to 0.09s and it utilises a brushless motor and all-aluminium case. It is understood that the servo will sport telemetry features to monitor parameters such as the inner temperature, current and voltage using telemetry compatible Sanwa transmitters. On top of this the servo supports SSR and SHR features. No word on a release date yet but we keep you posted.

UFRA introduce new Swiss-made 1/8th rims

Swiss foam tyre specialists UFRA have introduced their new domestically made 1/8th on-road rims. Made in Switzerland the rims are available as part of UFRA’s pre-trued tyre line in matte black or lightweight white versions with the front wheels now also being 1mm wider than the previous ones.

WRC F-One 017 1/10th formula car kit

Italian company WRC Racing have introduced the F-One 017 1/10th formula car kit. The latest incarnation of the platform features new, adjustable carbon battery stops for both the inline and transversal battery positions, it comes with a new main chassis that allows for short and long wheelbase settings by simply relocating the front end, while the rear supension assembly now allows for increased suspension travel and thus improved side bite. Last but not least come new, reinforced front lower arms that are more crash-proof than the previous parts.

Protoform tease R19 1/8th on-road body shell

Protoform have released a first teaser image of the forthcoming R19 1/8th nitro on-road body shell. Prototypes of the body already made a first public appearance at last weekend’s Italian Constructors Championship when Dario Balesti gave the body a maiden race win while Nicola Marrone and Lamberto Collari also made for a R19 main final finish. Full details will become available in time for the release.

Tamiya M-07 Concept chassis kit – Coming soon

Tamiya have officially announced the forthcoming release of the all-new M-07 M-chassis kit. Although there are still no images available, Tamiya USA have released information on all features of the kit that was designed by the same designer who brought the TA-07 Pro Touring Car Chassis to life. The chassis takes a number of design cues from Tamiya’s touring car models and features a largely changed design from its numeric predecessors. The goal set forth with this new platform; ease of maintenance and responsive drive characteristics, all of which were attained during its development. The kit is set for a release at the end of June and it will be accompanied by 13 hop-up parts that will become available at that time too.

Michael Ivo takes Danish 1/12th Modified title

The final round of the Danish DASU Electric On-road National indoor series was held in Tolloses. The bumpy track made things a bit unpleasant for the 1/12th scale drivers and after ending the day on the runner-up spot, following some issues with said track, Michael Ivo would take the overall title championship title.

Xray 48 pitch moulded offset spur gears

Xray have introduced three new 48 pitch moulded composite offset spur gears. Designed for the T4 series of touring cars, the gears are precision moulded using a hard composite material for efficiency and durability, they are of a lightweight design and come in the three sizes of 72T, 76T or 79T.

Bowie Ginting wins at Jakarta EP On-road regionals Rd2

The second round of Jakarta Electric On-road regionals was held at Sunter International Speedway, Jakarta. A clear sky made and hot weather made for sizzling track temperatures and overheating tyres towards the end of the 5-minute runs. The opening qualifier of the Touring class was won by Bowie Ginting after a mistake of Suwardi Suliandy while in Q2 Bowie cruised to a comfortable win, some four seconds in front of Suwardi and Christian Mamesah. For Q3 traction decreased and Bowie rolled his car on the first lap. He decided to pull out, making way for Ronny Suwarto who then snatched the TQ and the P2 spot on the grid.
