The second round of the Catalonia Pro10 Championship was held at the Rubí track this past weekend. In the Modified class Marc Valero took the overall TQ and he would also walk away with the day’s win after some very close A-mains. Jaime Lacuesta would take the runner-up spot at round two with Sergio Lacuesta coming in 3rd.

The opening round of the Spanish 1/8th Nitro On-road Nationals Championship was held at the Paco Lobo track in Sevilla in the South of the country. Mixed weather made things challenging for the competitors with Ruben Olivares making the best out of the conditions, taking the TQ and pole position for Sunday’s main final. After winning the Superpole race, Victor Gonzalez (Infinity) placed himself on the 2 spot on the grid. After the semifinals, held in damp conditions, Adrian Santeiro, Carlos Peracho, Alvaro Fernández, Sergio Montesinos, Iñaki Otero, Victor Pelaez, Alberto Alonso and Manuel Cendán proceeded to the 45-minute main final that was ultimately won by Adrian Santeiro (Infinity) with Sergio Montesinos (Shepherd) coming in second and Victor Gonzalez ending the day on the 3 spot.

Coming from Xray are a 2mm aluminium chassis and pod plate for the X10’16 pan car kit. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 material and coming black anodised for wear and looks the chassis features several herringbone-shaped cut-outs for optimised flex with the chassis being ideal for low, medium and high-bite conditions as it can improve overall traction and steering.
Available now from French brand Rusti Design are two carbon fibre ESC fan guards. Cut from 1mm high-quality carbon fibre and thus in most cases usable with the original fan mount hardware, the guards not only look good but they can also prevent damage to the fan’s blades by shielding them from larger debris or the speedo’s wires. The guards are available for 25mm or 30mm fans.
Ride have officially introduced their new GR F-1 pre-glued front and rear tyres for 1/10th formula cars. The belted high-grip tyres are available as GR F-1 and GR-X F1 front as well as GR F-1 rear variant all of which come on black multi-spoke rims suitable for all “narrow” F104-style formula cars. The GR front and rear tyres are the official handout tyres for the outdoor races of the 2016/17 ENS season.
T-Works have introduced a set of spring preload nuts for the Xray T4 series of cars. The parts are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, they come orange anodised to match the remainder of the car and are marked for easy identification of the shock absorbers and preload setting. Included in the 4-piece set are also new setting retaining O-rings. T4 specific due to their colour the nuts are also usable on the Yokomo BD8 and BD7.

The compact size device is easy to use both indoors and outdoors with the large LCD screen displaying the current humidity and temperature as well as highs and lows of both values.
