RDRP B6-series titanium front axle set

RDRP B6-series titanium front axle set

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced a titanium front axle set for the Team Associated B6-series of buggies. The parts are a direct replacement for the standard aluminium axles and thanks to the Grade 5 titanium material the axles are both lightweight and tough, making them the ideal choice for hardcore racing. Included comes an aluminium shim set to adjust the track width in a ±1mm range, allowing to adapt the steering feeling and side bite to your likings. The design of the axle furthermore makes using an “outlaw” setting possible for all non-sanctioned racing classes such as open club racing. Running the buggy in the widest configuration further enhances the overall steering and grip created.

Ben Cosgrove TQs & wins at BRCA Micro Nats Rd2

Ben Cosgrove TQs & wins at BRCA Micro Nats Rd2

The Silverstone RC MCC venue in Northhampton played host to round two of the BRCA Micro Nationals this past weekend. It was a cold November morning and the drivers were greeted with a twisty technical track, with a few jumps and added features to keep even the best drivers on their toes. Ben Cosgrove went on to take TQ in rounds three and four and this meant that he was tied on points with Phil Sleigh for the TQ battle. Ben had the fastest round time so that would give Ben the overall TQ. The A-main would be a close fought affair with the overall win going to Ben Cosgrove with Phil Sleigh in second and Eugene Galley third.

JConcepts B6 Fin 0mm offset spring cups

JConcepts have introduced the Fin 0mm offset spring cups for the Team Associated B6-series off-road buggies. The cups are a 0mm off-set which is a popular setting on the rear of the Team Associated B6 and B6D. The aluminium material comes anodised in either blue or black and provides a healthy footing for the hot new spring of choice or the trusty stock AE spring set. The cups feature a unique shock shaft path which helps lock the spring cup in position during hard crashes or collisions. Finishing the parts off is an etched off-set identification and JConcepts.net logo.

Drake was the top qualifier in both rounds of qualifying for Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truck. In the Buggy class, Drake pulled away from the field in the early stages of the race, but had a bad lap or two and allowed Cody King to catch up.
