VBC Racing have released two new items for their latest formula car the LightningFXM. First up is a redesigned aluminium chassis which features improved chassis flex characteristics from the new side slots design. Also new is an 7075 aluminium rear pod plate. Both new items are available now.

The second round of the Mibosport Cup 2016/17, organised by the team of Michal Bok, saw a total of 170 participants, with 93 drivers signing up for the on-road and 128 drivers signing up for the off-road classes. Qualifying for the Touring Car Modified class was won by Alexander Hagberg. Marek Černý finished second with Viljami Kutvonen in third.

Following extensive testing with factory driver Alexander Hagberg, HotRace tyres have introduced their new line of 1/12 rims. The new rims material is lightweight but not fragile allowing maximum performance with the highest reliability. These rims are expected to be on the market from the second week of December.

Not wasting any time, T-Works have introduced a whole host of new items for the newly released Xray X1 2017. New items include a set of 64-grade titanium ball ends, a complete titanium turnbuckle set, as well as a hybrid version, and a load of different screw sets. The screw sets include full titanium with the newly announced UFO head, gold plated steel screw set, a mix of titanium and 7075-T6 orange anodised screws and finally a complete set of orange anodised aluminium screws.
Capricorn have announced the signing of 2015 European B Champion Luca Piromalli to their team. Highly experienced and very helpful with everyone at the track, Luca will be behind the wheel of a new LAB C-803 powered by Tesla engines. Luca had this to say:

The second round of the British LMP-12 national series took place at the permanent MB Models facility in Leeds. The meeting was held over two days, with Saturday being 13.5 fixed timing for all drivers, and Sunday being split between 6.5 fixed timing modified and 13.5 fixed timing Sports Modified. The quality of the field was credibly high, with past World Champions David Spashett and Alexander Hagberg heading the entry list. Past National Champions Olly Jefferies and Chris Kerswell were also guaranteed front runners, along with the Schumacher team headed by Andy Murray, who had used the track extensively to test their new LMP car, the Eclipse.

Xray have announce that top Austrian on-road racer René Kölbel has joined their factory team. René will be driving the X1 and T4 on-road platforms at major international races including ETS. A front runner and race winner at the popular Mibosport Cup, he had the following to say:
I would like to thank Xray for the given trust in me. I drive the T4 and I’m excited about the quality and functionality of Xray RC cars, therefore it was clear for me to join the Xray team in the formula class as well. Xray X1 is a very good car with a lot of potential. During the season I will participate at all major races including ETS, and of course, the National series as well. New from Xray for the T4 comes this super smart fan mount designed specifically for the T4 platform.
