Round two of the Italian 1/8th GT Championships was held this past weekend at the Blacktarmac track in Mesero. In the Expert category it was Alessio Mazzeo who took the TQ after the qualifiers and the day’s win in the A-main from second placed Daniele Bulla and third placed Roberto Catanzani.

The opening round of the Berlin Touring Masters was held at the 1. MRC track in Berlin, Germany. The event was held in the three classes of 13.5T, 17.5T and Rookie and in the 13.5T class it was Niko Gorski who took the TQ after the qualifiers. In the triple A-mains though local racer Stefan Schulz made maximum use of his track knowledge, passing Niko on the first lap in every leg and bringing home the win from Niko Gorski on the runner-up spot while Julian Köster rounded out an all-Xray podium in third.

Coming from Kyosho and made for the R4Evo 1/10th 200mm nitro touring car is the V2 aluminium upper rear bulkhead set. Using the parts makes for more rigidity of the rear end for improved traction while two different camper mount plates allow for a wider setup range. Included in the set are two new upper bulkhead halves, two carbon fibre camber plates and suitable hardware.

Yeah Racing have introduced their new Hackslider gyro unit tailor-made for drift cars. Housed in an aluminium heatsink case the gyro is usable with both standard and digital servos and it allows for easy setting changes using +3 channel transmitters or the on-board gain/sensitivity adjustment feature. Measuring 25.6×24.5x10mm and weighing in at 13.5g the compact unit is easy to install and it is available in pink, gun metal or black colour.
Round two of the Greek Speedhunters series was held at the Zorri RC track in Athens. After the qualifiers Doukakis placed his car on the 1 spot in front of Batas and Isakides. In the opening A-main things mixed up a bit with Isakides taking the win from Batas and Doukakis. A2 then saw Batas coming out fastest from Isakides in second and Velaoras in third and in the third and final A-main things again mixed up heavily with Velaoras taking the win following a crash of Isakides and Batas. Ultimately Tasos Batas would take the win in the tie-breaker after being tie on points with Isakides. Velaoras had to settle for third.

The second round of the Swiss Nitro On-road Nationals took place at the world famous MRTM Track in Lostallo. In the strong 1/8th class Simon Kurzbuch TQ’s three out of the four rounds to secure the overall TQ spot in front of Silvio Hächler. The 45-minute main final started under damp conditions but after 15 minutes the track had dried up and in the end it was again Simon Kurzbuch who came out on top, one lap in ahead of Luca Martinelli and Claudio Pasquin in second and third 3rd respectively.
