TWT acrylic setup boards & car stand

TWT acrylic setup boards & car stand

Thai company TWT has introduced a range of setup and pit boards as well as car stands made from high-quality acrylic material. Starting with the setup and pit boards, the multi-layer parts are available in a range of layouts, from pure setup boards with grids for track width and toe adjustment up to several pit boards of different layouts with foam padded compartments for shocks, springs, screws and shims. All boards also feature scales as well as scale drawings of washers, bearings and screws to help with easy hardware identification while building, tuning and maintaining. Also new are car stands made from the same acrylic material that again feature several padded compartments, hardware identification graphics and foam padded areas to make sure nor the chassis or car stand become scratched during use. The high precision of the car stands also allows to use them as an anti-tweak board for touring car chassis. They fit right into dedicated compartments in the pit boards for a nice and tidy pit space and both the boards and cars stands are available in several standard colours but they can also be ordered with individual designs.

Yaniv Sivan wins at Israeli League Rd5

Yaniv Sivan wins at Israeli League Rd5

The recent fifth round of the Israeli League was held at the technical, high traction Tavor Motors raceway near Ashkelon city. Yaniv Sivan would take the TQ from Tal Siles and Dan Price and right from the start of the 40 minute final Yaniv was able to open a gap on the field with Omer Assayag and Tal Siles hot on his heels. Some 12 minutes into the race Tal, running in third place at that time, ran into technical issues, leaving Or Balulu, Ofir Avitan and Dan Price to fight for the third spot. Ultimately Yaniv Sivan (Kyosho/Reds/Pro-Line) would take the win from Omer Assayag (Agama/Alpha/Pro-Line) while Or Balulu (Agama/Bullett/Pro-Line) rounded out the podium result in third place.

Thanks to Yaniv Sivan for the report.

JConcepts T5M Hi-Flow truck bodyshell

JConcepts T5M Hi-Flow truck bodyshell

Coming soon from JConcepts is the Hi-Flow bodyshell for the Team Associated T5M stadium truck. The all-new race body is inspired by the looks of a class leading pick-up, loaded with performance features and it sports a low-profile design and beefy fenders. Extruded front and rear fender flares offer maximum tyre clearance and the slight hood-scoop raised portion helps bulk up the front-end and provides clearance for the T5M geometry. The rear bed has built-in clearance for the massive big bore shocks and tower to help maintain that sleek appearance. The body includes a spoiler on the back of the body mould which can be trimmed and detailed to drop right on to the rear and secured with the two included JConcepts button head screws.  As an added performance benefit, the body offers several “trim-zone” areas on the rear of the bed which can be removed to help reduce the slight parachute affect brought on by open wheel trucks. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks and a decal sheet.
