Bloomfield takes 2014 BRCA 1/8th nitro buggy title

The final round of this year’s BRCA 1/8th nitro buggy nationals took place at Slough Remote World Model Car Club. Kyosho’s Elliott Boots put his Reds-powered buggy on pole position for the 45 minute final in front of TQ Lee Martin (Mugen/Beat) and Neil Cragg (Team Associated/LRP). In the main Neil only managed to turn 3 laps until he had to retire making way for a battle between Lee and Elliott. Both ended the final being separated by only 6 seconds with the better end for Lee. Jack Embling (Mugen/Novarossi) came in 3rd to complete the podium. Graham Alsop (Hot Bodied/Bullitt) finished in 4th position while championship favourite Darren Bloomfield (Agama/Bullitt) had to settle for 5th. Xtreme Racing Mini 8ight Truggy carbon fibre options

Xtreme Racing Mini 8ight Truggy carbon fibre options

Made for the Team Losi Mini 8ight Truggy are three new carbon fibre option parts from Xtreme Racing in the form of a front and rear shock tower as well as mud guards for the rear A-arms. The shock towers come made from 3mm carbon fibre and replace the stock aluminium towers. They mimic the standard suspension geometry and offer several mounting positions for the shocks and camber links. The rear wheel guards are again made from high quality carbon fibre material and prevent excessive dirt build-up around the driveshafts and shocks when running Team Losi’s mini truck off-road.
