Sági Tamás wins at Hungarian on-road champs Rd8

Sági Tamás wins at Hungarian on-road champs Rd8

The 8th and final round of the Hungarian On-Road Championships was held at the Hungaroring. The organising club did a perfect job and even sugar-watered the track to make for perfect grip conditions and virtually no dust to right from the start. The track was run in clockwise direction this time meaning right-handed mechanics had to practice refuelling a bit. As for the results, in the 1/10th 200mm Stock class Sági Tamás took home the win in order to grab the runner-up spot in the 2013 national championship. Varsányi Péter, who already won this year’s championship by taking the penultimate round some weeks ago, came in fifth place. Sági Tamás then went on to win the 1/8 class, securing him the runner-up spot and vice championship in the 8th class also.

Schumacher Mi5 stiff chassis & Ti balls

Schumacher Mi5 stiff chassis & Ti balls

Schumacher have new optional parts for the Mi5 touring car available in the form of a 2mm stiff weave chassis and Core RC titanium pivot balls. Starting with the chassis, the part is stiffer than the stock kit chassis and ideal when racing in high grip conditions. It also scrubs around 10g of weight while lowering the car’s centre of gravity at the same time. The second new part is a 22 piece titanium ball set, again for the Mi5. The parts significantly reduce the weight of the car and are super tough allowing to use them over a long time without having to fear wear and tear.
