Mibosport Cup Summer 2014 – Announcement

Mibosport will hold a number of races during the Summer in the form of an on-road series, off-road “club” meetings and a single off-road event. Starting with the on-road races, this year’s Mibosport Cup will see the running of only 2 races but they are held on what are considered the best tracks in the Czech Republic. The series opener takes place on the 14th of June in Brno and resumes on the 2nd of August in Blansko. Both events see the running of Touring Car Modified, Stock LRP, Formula and Yokomo GT classes. The technical regulations are the same as used on the popular Mibosport Winter Cup.

Coelho & Carvalho win at Portuguese champs Rd2

Last weekend the 2nd round of the Portuguese national touring car championship was run at the Maia track near Porto. In the modified class Bruno Coelho took the and the win from Joao Malverio and Jose Pequito. Helder Silva and Pedro Moura completed the top 5 result.

WRC Racing setup board

WRC Racing from Italy have a new setup board available. Measuring 42x33cm the board weights in at only 1050g and it is meant to be extremely plain thanks to a special manufacturing process. Various markings help during suspension setup while company logos let you show your passion to everything WRC.

Endurance Championship Austria – Announcement

Endurance Championship Austria - Announcement

The 5th running of the Endurance Championship Austria will take place on the 21st of June at the Tirol Ring in Kematen, Austria. The 10h race, organised by the MRC Zillertal club, will be run with Tamiya TT01 chassis equipped with control electrics in the form of a Speed Passion Citrix Stock Club speedo and MMM 13.5T motors using a 55/26 gear ratio. Ride 36R tyres and Tamiya GT bodies such as the Mercedes SLS, Audi R8 or Porsche GT3 are mandatory for all cars as are front and rear LED lights. The race will start at 1 p.m. with a special top qualifying to determine the starting grid taking place before. Entries for the race are still availably by clicking here.

Leo Arnold joins Team Magic & HRC Distribution

HRC Distribution announce the signing of French ace Leo Arnold to their team. The successful nitro racer will now also attend at electric touring car events such as the French Championships and the ETS using Team Magic’s latest E4RS II Evo kit.

Avid Triad 17mm lightweight wheel nuts

Avid introduce the Triad 17mm lightweight wheel nuts for 1/8th off-road and GT vehicles. The unique design utilises only 3 corners of the nut instead of 6 to give the nut its light weight, around 0.96g per piece, while also protecting the laser etched Avid “A’s” from being worn off like popular closed nuts. The serrated design keeps them in place securely and the nuts are available in 4-piece packs in black, red, blue or hard anodising colour.

Xceed Centax digital clutch gap tool

Xceed introduce this digital clutch gap tool for Centax on-road clutch systems. A large display shows the amount of axial clutch bell play with the tool helping to adjust the desired clutch play of around 0.1mm to 0.2mm. Designed for the direct use with Serpent Centax version 2 and 3 clutches, the tool is also usable with a range of other systems using optional alloy adapters that will become available soon.

LRP Masters Italy – Announcement

LRP announce the LRP Masters Italy, run at the Romagnoli RC Arena in Mordano near Bologna, Italy on the weekend of June 1st, as part of the 8-race LRP Challenge Italy. The series is based on the concept of the popular LRP-HPI-Challenge and the event will see the running of four touring car classes including 17.5T Classic, 17.5T, 13.5T and Modified.
