Xceed have released a new blend of racing fuel with 16% & 25% onroad fuel and 25% nitro for offroad cars/engines called Pro XF. Made using a mix of high quality methanol, nitromethane, mainly mineral oil and a percentage of some types of synthetic oil. The castor oil will protect the engine and creates a very thin black film which creates a better seal inside the engine. The fuel is supplied in handy nylon containers in 2 and 5 liters.

Once again JConcepts hit the road to Coral Springs for the JConcepts Super Cup Championship Series race #4. Friday practice at CSRCCC had threatening skies looming overhead with a thirty percent chance of rain for race day, Saturday afternoon. All thirty percent of the rain seemed to pour down Saturday morning. With a few phone calls there now was a plan B which was put into effect to relocate the event to Basher’s indoor RC Raceway in Palm Beach Gardens. Thanks to modern technology and email, Gmail, Texting, Facebook, RCTech, and any other form of communication you can think of, the word quickly spread to the racers about the move. Special thanks to Brian Buckley owner of Basher’s RC Raceway for having a well prepared venue, able to host 185 racers at a moments notice.

Sweep Racing’s all new 1/8th scale 308 Double Action carcass has a very unique patter with a pair of flexible spikes facing in opposite directions to grab at anything in any conditions. Thanks to the unique design, the 308 delivers consistent lap times throughout it’s life due to the accurate balance achieved in design and construction quality control. Also the tests, conducted by Renaud Savoya, show that when the top of spikes wears out, the bottom of the step pin making contacts with the surface to keep your machine in touch with the track during long main races with minimal ballooning. T-Work’s Racing have released a number of new parts for a variety of cars. Starting with offroad there is a line of hard coated aluminium A-arm bushings for the Hong Nor & Jammin X3 Sabre buggies as well as hard coated aluminium brake cams for the same cars. For on road there is the a set of hard coated 7075 T6 pivot balls for the Mugen MRX-5 & MTX-5 as well as a set for the Xray RX8 and NT1.
Bliss RC have introduced their new F5 .21 buggy engine. Featuring a 5 port ABC liner, a modified piston helps improve performance and lifespan while an aluminium & plastic carburetor helps to avoid overheating. The innovative CLC system not only makes positioning the carb super simple, it also avoids displacement of the crankcase and improves the position of the crankshaft. A lightened cooling head lowers the engine’s centre of gravity while a flanged underhead improves the cooling of the motor.

Buggy racers around the world will appreciate the engineering, looks, and performance of the new Satellite buggy wheel lineup from Avid. For the 24th year in a row, racers gathered at the historic Intermountain R/C Raceway just outside of Salt Lake City, UT and this year the entry count was over 200 for the smooth indoor clay surface race. Qualifying started Friday afternoon and ended Saturday night, with Mains on Sunday. Mod classes included 2WD Buggy, Stadium Truck, 4WD Buggy, and 4×4 Short Course. Team Associated/Reedy/LRP driver Rob Gillespie Jr. made a bold statement in qualifying, earning TQ in all three classes he entered, Mod Buggy, Mod Truck, and Mod 4WD. The hometown driver seemed to be very comfortable on the track with his Pro-Line-equipped Team Associated vehicles all weekend long. Adrian Redding went on to earn the last TQ spot in the 4×4 Short Course field with his Factory Team SC10 4×4.

Introduced at this year’s Nuremberg Toyfair the Team Orion CRF B521 and R21 Factory Team engines are now available. Starting with the CRF B521 Factory Team Buggy engine for 1/8 scale nitro buggies, the power mill features a redesigned crank case, heat absorbing coating, lightened cooling head and ceramic main bearing. The long-stroke engine is available as 5-port B521 and 3-port B321 with both sporting an ABC liner and 2-needle carburetor.
