After the 3rd qualifier, Ty’s TQ from the 2nd round still stood. In the 4th and final qualifier Ty’s dogbone twisted off, opening the door for Associated’s Peter Toszer to take the TQ from Ty by 1 second. This set the stage for what would be an exciting main. Peter Toszer, Ty and Wayne Mah pulled away from the field, but Ty was able to come away with the win putting the HotBodies TCX with PROTOform’s MazdaSpeed 6 body in the top podium position, Wayne would take 2nd with Peter finishing 3rd after an unfortunate marshaling incident.
