Edam Racing have introduced a new line of 1/10th scale foam tires. Made using the best foam sheets available, they come pre glued on either white or yellow feather light rims. Available in 26mm front and 30mm rear versions for 200mm racing and 30mm front and 40mm rears for 220mm racing.

New from Xceed RC are these titanium M4 wheels nuts. Mainly used for 1/10th scale racing, they sport a knurled flange to help keep the nuts in position. Also new for the 733 and the most popular 1/8th scale cars, is this super light and nicely machined brake disk. Made from a special type of steel to produce very smooth braking, they work well with Ferodo, teflon and many other brake pads.

Serpent now offers their 733 wishbones in a softer but extremely durable composite nylon, called M for medium. With more flex than the H parts, which are best suited for very high grip an high temperature conditions, these new M versions will perform best in all other conditions. The uprights and steering blocks remain the same composite mix as before and the new parts are indicated with a M for easy identification. Available as separate parts and as full-set.

Martin Lissau wins Danish National opener

Last weekend the first round of the Danish Nationals took place at the Odense RC MiniRace track. Martin Lissau was present to compete the first time with the Shepherd Velox V10 and with limited possibilities for practice because of the rain he went into the first round of qualifying and set a new track record on his way to clocking the fastest time. Right after, the rain arrived again and the rest of the qualifying was canceled. The finals were scheduled for Sunday and finally the track was dry. Right from the start of the final Martin pulled away and never looked back, running flawlessly for 30 minutes to cross the line in first position ahead of Claus Rygeskov in 2nd and Martin Hansen in 3rd. In the 1/8th scale class Henrik Christensen had the lead from the start to the end to take victory in front of fellow Shepherd racer Hans Andersen in 2nd, with John Jessen 3rd.

Philippe Tschupp wins Stock class at Swiss Rd2

The 2nd round of the Swiss touring car nationals took place at the Islikon indoor track in the north of the country this past weekend. In the stock class it was Top Racing driver Philippe Tschupp that claimed the TQ spot ahead of team mate Florian Hauser in 2nd with Philipp Hagnauer in 3rd. The finals when the way of the pole man Tschupp, who was able to win 2 finals to secure the win with Hagnauer taking the runner up spot and Stuzt Beni taking 3rd.

Having followed the car through its development stages, Kyosho Germany have announced that the TF6 touring car kit has just arrived in Europe and will be available in the next days. Developed by Kyosho Japan masterminds Shin Adachi and Kazuhiro Miyazaki and race proven by German international team driver Christopher Krapp, the TF6 is ready to hit the tracks worldwide. Equipped with a 2 belt drive train and a special ball outdrive system at the front and rear swing shafts, the car claims to set a new benchmark for on-road electric touring cars. Ready for the maximum power of the latest brushless motors and speed controllers, the chassis is able to handle both LiPo and classic NiMH batteries and shows the lowest possible CG for the best performance at the track. With podium finishes at the recent TITC race by Shin Adachi and A-Main attendance at the 2009 European Championships as well as winning the outdoor German National Championship by Christopher Krapp, this car will be a serious competitor for the world championship this year.
