HB EU Moore-Speed Reynard 02S body

We only briefly mentioned the new EU Moore-Speed Reynard 02S 1/12th scale body in one of our Daily round ups last week, because we had written about it back in February, but today we see that the body will actually be available in 2 different versions, normal and lightweight. Designed for high cornering speeds, this body shell features a sculpted front end and mid section to direct air over the gentle curves of this single-focus body shell giving you superb high speed stability and performance on the straight. Moulded from crystal clear polycarbonate, it features clear over spray film and a decal sheet with headlights and Hot Bodies logos.

Ralph Burch wins Great Lakes Challenge

Ralph Burch wins Great Lakes Challenge

Xray have a report from team driver Barry Baker about the 2007 Great Lakes Challenge race that was held last weekend in Toledo, Ohio. Most drivers had a few days practice to fine tune their setups but unfortunately race day was cancelled due to rain, and so the win was given to Ralph Burch who had taken the TQ spot after qualifying.

In the last round Paul was on a blistering pace to set TQ and made a mistake which meant that he would have to settle for 2nd on the grid. Bobby also had a few mishaps… In this round Ralph put in a different motor and his clutch wasnt right but he did set fastest lap for the event in Sedan(18.44). Ray put in an impressive run in his heat to jump to 4th on the grid (guess he was getting the hang of gas cars..lol). At the end of qualifing they took 11 cars straight to the main and with the NT1 we had 6 of the top 11 including the top 5!

More new parts from Xray for the NT1, with the release of this performance enhancing CNC-machined yellow clutch shoe for the car’s XCA clutch. Due to the material used being harder than on the standard shoe it slips less and and is also more durable, and is suggested to use it only on high bite tracks. Perfect for the serious racer.
