Rebellion RC X12’21 crossflex chassis

More new chassis options from Rebellion RC, this time for the Xray X12’21, with their first crossflex chassis for 1/12th scale. The outer shape is identical to the original, while in the main body of the chassis the crossflex inserts are positioned close to the centre-line to keep the rotating behaviour of the car as agile as possible. At the front the cutouts are chamfered to generate additional downforce, they claim, especially in fast corners and testing of the prototype at the end of the 2020 season has shown the benefit of the crossflex chassis and its brass insert system in the 1/12th class.

Rebellion RC T4’21 Crossflex aluminium chassis

Following on from yesterday’s release of the Rebellion RC Crossflex aluminium chassis for the Awesomatix MMX, there is now a version for the T4’21. Just like the MMX version this too is much narrower than the previous version, at only 76mm it improves roll-behaviour and prevent the chassis from touching the ground. The holes for the short swing arms were removed which made it possible to make the rear end narrower which leads to improved on throttle traction. In the front the Crossflex inserts were replaced by the new Y-Stiffener as well as a new X-Stiffener for forward Servo mount which gives you a lot more flex-setting options. Last but not least they have made new floating-plates for ESC and Electronics, that are available in brass for stock and aluminium for modified for perfectly adjusted car-balance depending on batteries used. Due to the re-positioned battery holder holes the chassis comes with a set of longer carbon battery holders.
