Aaron Rönick wins 2020 Bavarian Champs final

The Bavarian Champs final took place last weekend at the Sand am Main track and saw Jorn Neumann (SWorkz) take the TQ spot following qualifying. Jorn would go onto win his Semi final as would Aaron Rönick (Associated) and it would be Aaron that started the 30 minute main final from pole position. In the final Neumann would get tagged from behind at the start which dropped him back to mid pack and allowed Rönick to pull clear. Neumann would recover and by the end was only 8 seconds back from Aaron who took the win, with Jorn second and Max Hesse (SWorkz)in 3rd. Hesse would take the overall Bavarian title having also accumulated points in the southern regional series.

ONG titanium clutch retaining screw

This new ONG clutch retaining screw has been made from grade 5 Titanium due to its better thermal expansion characteristics compared to steel. This will make it possible to unscrew/screw without problems, even with a hot engine. It has a total length of 9mm, of which 6mm are thread, and a protrusion from the crankshaft of only 3mm so as to avoid collisions with the tank in case of excessive flex of the chassis. The new geometry eliminates any rubbing between bearing/bell, while the additional external diameter protects the bearing from dust and foreign debris.
