TLR 22X-4 1/10th 4WD electric buggy kit

Team Losi Racing have officially unveiled their all-new 22X-4 1/10th scale 4WD buggy that made some impression at the 2019 IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championship held at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin, Slovakia. Although still sharing its name with its predecessor, the triple-belt-driven 22-4, the 22X-4 has nothing in common with the previous buggy. Taking a completely different approach to a TLR 4WD buggy, the R&D team has developed an all-new platform from the ground up. Switching to the more reliable and versatile shaft drive design, the 22X-4 is much lighter and has improved driving characteristics while also being significantly easier to build and maintain. The buggy has a combination of features second-to-none including full adjustable suspension, 2.5 milled aluminium chassis, floating servo mount, adjustable motor and battery position, carbon fibre throughout, and so much more. Maximising the flex characteristics for all surfaces, the 2.5mm thick chassis with heavy pocketing gives the correct amount of flex and rigidity for smooth corning, optimised balance, and bounce-free landings. Taking suspension tuning to a new level, the 22X-4 has adjustments for front and rear axle height, rear axle pin position, inner front and rear hinge pin position in all directions, nearly unlimited rear camber link positions, shock mounting positions, and much more.

Klinik RC Cougar Laydown +3mm rear camber mount

Klinik RC have introduced their new +3mm rear camber mount for the Schumacher Cougar Laydown buggy. The mount is aimed at astro and carpet racers that have needed to stack 3-6mm in washers to obtain the correct roll centre for higher grip surfaces. Using the mount adds strength to the rear inner ball mount when running a higher roll centre. With no washers installed the parts offers the same height as the stock geometry with 3mm washer, hence the +3mm name.

JConcepts Team Associated RC10GT authentic body

Coming from JConcepts is the authentic Team Associated RC10GT truck body shell, a vintage product that used the genuine Team Associated mold. When Team Associated decided to pull the trigger and build a 1/10th gas truck, they went all-the-way. In the process, a whole new class was ignited and the RC10GT was born. One of the most sought-after looks in the vintage RC community is the look of a stadium truck from the 1990’s and racers love the GT. There might have been no better look than the RC10T and RC10GT during the golden age of stadium truck and the body design had a lot to do with it. JConcepts, with approval from Team Associated, have reintroduced the genuine RC10GT body shell to the masses. This allows the faithful to recreate, rebuild and race with authentically styled bodies from the heyday of competitive gas truck racing. A lot of work went into making this project a reality and thankfully, Team Associated preserved the iconic molds from the 1993 calendar year. JConcepts was able to restore older generation construction and with a blend of today’s materials, the RC10GT body is back out on the market. Everyone knows the iconic style, the front hood-scoop which is forged over the front shock geometry along with dead-panned front headlights and grille. The neutral cab design with built-in number plates and roll-bar stand-out which gave enthusiasts their first memory of gas stadium trucks. The quarter round wheel well flares added a bit of realism to the design while the lengthy rear spoiler provided some much-needed rear downforce for slippery race conditions. Each package includes window mask, and clear polycarbonate body with no decal sheet included.

JConcepts S15 RC8B3.1 body shell

JConcepts have introduced their S15 body shell for the popular Team Associated RC8B3.1 1/8th scale buggy. The S15 blends performance features of the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabiliser kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The engine area remains clean and a deep rooted position allows the engine head maximum side exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Team Associated RC8B3.1 and other kit variants. For the precise fit, the design has undergone changes to match the Team Associated chassis side-guards and body mount positioning. The S15 stance cockpit allows ample fuel tank access, a smoother high-speed windshield transition which tackles even the most high-speed conditions. The hard edged chamfering provides the classic JConcepts look while also delivering aero benefits and perfect decal positioning. Included with each body come window masks and a decal sheet.
