Indonesia Buggy Nationals finale – Report

The final round of the Indonesia Buggy Nationals was held at the C-Netic RC Track in Surabaya, East Java last weekend. A total of 46 drivers from Jakarta, Medan, Padang, Batam, Banjarmasin, Pontianak, Makasar as well as local racers attended this event whose schedule saw six rounds of 10-minute qualifying followed by bump-up finals. After the six rounds of qualifying it was Jason Nugroho (HB Racing/Ninja) with the overall TQ honours, unfortunately in the A-main final he suffered from two flame-outs because of flywheel problems and finished in 2nd place. Up front it was Adrian Wicaksono (Mugen/Ninja) who would walk away with the win as Rama Tribudiman (Kyosho/O.S.) came in 3rd to round out the podium.

Ramp roll out new B6.1 & B74 carbon fibre optionals

Ramp have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B6.1/T6.1 and B74 off-road kits. First up is an O-ring battery retention system that ensures quick and easy battery swaps of both standard and LCG shorty batteries while the design also allows for effortless battery position tuning and more natural chassis flex. The set includes two carbon fibre battery braces, mounting hardware and two high-quality rubber O-rings. The set is usable on both the B6.1 buggy and T6.1 truck.

Carisma Scale Adventure MSA-1E 1976 Ford F-150 RTR

Carisma Scale Adventure have introduced there new 1/24th scale MSA-1E based 1976 Ford F-150 trail truck. Carisma have refined their popular mini scale truck platform to include new features like lower gearing, a Gen 2 motor with a built-in protection circuit, the Gen 2 servo saver and the fully licensed 1976 Ford F-150 bodyshell. All this is combined with the compact KD Propo steering wheel transmitter with 1-2-3 speed feature. The truck comes factory assembled and also includes a power socket for all-in-one FPV cameras.

Ielasi Tuned competition conrods – Coming soon

Ielasi Tuned have released first information on their all-new competition conrods for Novarossi and OS-based engines. Machined from high-quality titanium and using highest quality self-lubricating bushing material, the conrods will greatly increase the engine performance while offering exceptional durability of all parts involved, including the conrod itself and the connection pin. Yeah Racing DF03 spring steel CV driveshafts

Yeah Racing have introduced their new spring steel CV-style driveshafts for the Tamiya DF03 chassis. Offering improved durability while being not overly heavy the driveshafts are an ideal upgrade when running hotter motors in the DF03-based cars such as the Top Force, Wild Dagger, Twin Detonator, or Double Blaze. The set includes two pre-assembled driveshafts.

JConcepts introduce new B74 carbon fibre optionals

Coming from JConcepts are several new carbon fibre optional parts for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy. First up is the hanging servo mount plate, an updated part to the original design as mounting and securing the servo on the B74 is critical, because the hanging servo mount plate requires durability and reliability in all aspects. The 2.5mm thickness, genuine carbon fibre material is durable, lightweight and features the JConcepts milled sections which help maintain strength while minimising weight. The mounting pattern remains standard for quick attachment in the correct position.

Axial SCX10 II 1955 Ford F-100 RTR trail truck

Axial have unveiled the latest body shell variant for their popular SCX10 II trail truck, the 1955 Ford F-100. The truck builds on the proven SCX10 II 4×4 truck chassis with AR44 axles, optimised 3.75 gear ratio and multi-link suspension. The body features authentic details including a front grille with chrome-coated plastic radiator and front-mounted driving lights with LEDs installed. Mounting positions are built-in to add optional LEDs for headlights and turn signal markers. Officially licensed Method Hole wheels and Maxxis Trepador tyres — plus a working spare — take the realism down to the road. Performance on the trail lives up to the model’s full-scale inspiration. Waterproof electronics keep the action alive over snow, mud, and more. With its all-metal twin C-channel frame rails, metal-gear transmission, full ball bearings, and more, the truck keeps going when the going gets tough. The F-100 is available in two body shell colour soon.
