Jessica Palsson sweeps Winter Cup Rd2

The RaceHouse RC Sjöbo track in Sjöbo, Sweden hosted the second round of the Swedish Winter Cup this past weekend. Schumacher’s Jessica Palsson was in control of things in the 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes as he took the overall TQs and wins in both categories. In 4WD the Tekno RC duo of Roger and Linus Olsen came in 2nd and 3rd respectively while the 2WD podium was completed by Markus Jönsson and Anton Nimaker.

Reavis & Pillars win at Rockstar Winter Off-road Series Rd2

The second round of the Rockstar Winter Off-road Series was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon last Saturday. The event attracted a total of 80 entries and in 2WD Modified Buggy it was Team Associated’s Ryan Reavis with the overall TQ and also the win in A1 and A2 of the triple A-main events. Yokomo’s Andy DiBrino came in 2nd with 8-2-1 finishes while Yokomo US team manager, Joe Pillars had to settle for 3rd overall with 2-4-3 results.

William Venables wins at TORCH Winter Series Rd3

Round 3 of the TORCH Winter Series was held this past weekend. Team Associated’s William Venables would take the TQ in the 2WD Buggy class and he also walked away with the overall victory following wins in A1 and A3 while Yokomo driver, Yasir Mugal came in 2nd with 4-1-3 finishes in the A-mains. SWorkz driver Stephen Brown ended tie on points with Yasir, however he had to settle for 3rd overall despite scoring three runner-up spots in the triple A-mains.

Davide Ongaro TQs & wins at Christmas Cup

The River Park RC-off Track in Pagliare di Morro D’oro hosted the Christmas Cup over the weekend, attracting some of the region’s fastest 1/8th off-road racers as well as 1/8th Off-road World Champion, Davide Ongaro. The latter would then also be in control of things, taking the overall TQ and also the win in the 1/8th Nitro Buggy A-main final, leaving behind Dario Gabrielli (Mugen) in 2nd while David Cinti (Mugen) completed the top 3 results.

Samix Enduro 6mm offset aluminium hex adapters

Coming from Samix and made for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks are new aluminium hex adapters with 6mm offset. The wheel adapters are machined from high-quality aluminium and they are available in gun metal, blue or black anodising all of which feature machined silver edge details. The adapters are a direct fit and they come in sets of four including pre-installed set screws.

SWorkz S12-2 2WD buggy kit – Coming soon

SWorkz have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new S12-2 1/10th scale 2WD buggy kit. No official details on features and specifications are available yet, however the drawing seems to depict a buggy that lacks a front shock tower which could be a hint on a completely new front end design compared to the previous S12 series cars. We bring you more information on the kit and its details once they become available.

Klinik RC Cat L1 simple battery cradle

Klinik RC have introduced their new simple battery cradle for the Schumacher Cat L1 4WD buggy. The design works with full size shorty up to 6000mAh and LCG packs utilising the full forward battery position which is considered to be the most popular among the L1 racers. The cradle is CNC milled from 3mm carbon fibre and allows changing batteries very simple and easy. Included in the set come two battery cradles, four hold down O-rings, 3x14mm screws as well as a decal sheet.

Savöx have introduced their new SB-2262SG Monster Series HV brushless low-profile servo for 1/10th and 1/8th scale applications. Offering up to 30kg-cm of torque and a speed of down to 0.065s the high-voltage compatible brushless motor servo provides exceptional performance for all demanding electric and nitro applications while weighing in at only 65g. A machined aluminium case with heatsink design middle section and the overall construction, that was taken over from the SB-229X series servos, ensure high durability. The servo is usable with up to 8.4V input voltage and it sports an all-black receiver wire for stealthy looks.
