The 3rd round of the Dutch 1/10th scale 200mm Nationals were held last weekend at the MACH circuit in Heemstede, close to Amsterdam. Qualifying for the NK class, saw Xray driver Maarten van Lierop claim the pole position by less than a tenth of a second from Pedro Rombouts in 2nd, while round 1 winner Daan Jacobs and round 2 winner Ruud Schuitmaker rounded out the top 4. The 3rd round of the 1/8th scale on road Nationals took place at the weekend on the very fast Baanbrekers in Rucphen. The day started on a somber note with a 1 minute silence to remember Belgian racer Koen Joosens and a well known Dutch driver Raymond Soyer who was killed recently during his job as a fireman. Qualification on Sunday started on a wet track and only the 3rd run of heats saw dry track conditions, making this by far the fastest round. The 2nd round of the Dutch 1/10th scale Nationals was run last weekend at the super fast Baanbrekers track in Rucphen in the South West of the country. Saturday’s practice was interrupted by rain and this meant that many drivers had problems getting a setup for the cars for Sunday’s race. Qualifying on Sunday was run in the dry and in the National class it was newly signed Xray racer Daan Jacobs that took the pole position just ahead of local racer Pedro Rombouts in 2nd, with Serpent pairing of Ruud Schuitmaker and Remy Moller rounding out the top 4….

The 2nd round of the Dutch 1/8th scale Nationals took place last weekend at the Groningen track in the north of the country under sunny and dry conditions. Qualifying saw Mugen racer Rick V. take the pole postion from Daniel vd Drift in 2nd and John Ermen in 3rd. In the final Rick V. once again had the pace and could build up a lead over eventual runner up John Ermen with Rick Veenma taking the final podium spot. The first round of the Dutch 1/8th scale Nationals took place today at the AMCA track in Apeldoorn under dry but cold conditions. Qualifying for the NK class saw the pole position go to Kyosho racer Ilia van Gastel, nearly 3 seconds in front of Mugen racer Rick V in 2nd, while in the Nomac class it was Jordy Blok clear out in front with Jeroen Janken in 2nd. The 6th round of the Dutch 1/8th scale Nationals was held last weekend at the ultra smooth Apeldoorn track in the east of the country. The drivers were greeted with great weather and in the NK main final it was Kyosho racer Ilia Van Gastel, who won here last year in the Nomac class, that took the win from Marcel Schouten in 2nd and Danny Leeuwis in 3rd. This weekend saw the 4th round of the Dutch 200mm Nationals take place at the world famous MACH track in Heemstede, just outside Amsterdam. The weather was sunny and dry and the event was open to the main NK class, as well as the 200mm Nomac class and the Promo class for 1/8th scale.
