Reflex Racing introduce the RSD6 chassis conversion kit for Team Associated’s TC6 and TC6.1 touring car. The set includes a 82mm wide 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis plate, adjustable CF LiPo battery braces, transverse servo mounting bracket, aluminium dual bellcranks as well as stainless steel and aluminium hardware. The narrower chassis allows for a soft suspension setting for improved bump handling while the dual bellcrank steering makes the car much easier to drive. The new TC6.1 vertical ballstud bearing caps from Team Associated allow for finer adjustments of both the link angle and length, providing you more options to tune to your track conditions. The TC6.1 vertical ballstud bearing caps feature three positions total, all with a vertical ball stud orientation so that the ball height can be adjusted in finer increments. The shortest link position is the same length as the original, with the additional two link positions offering longer links. …Lathrop finish 3rd. In Pro Stock, it was an intense qualifying between the top 3 drivers. In the 1st round of qualifying, Corally driver TJ Bradley driving the all new HMX took the early lead. In the 2nd qualifier there were 6 other drivers on pace to beat TJ’s TQ, but all had a motor failure. In the 3rd qualifier, Troy Schafer driving the Associated TC6 had the lead the entire qualifier on TQ pace. Zeppin Racing have released new 2mm flex top plates for the Team Associated TC6.1 and Xray T3 2012. The original top plate for the TC6.1 was engineered for firmness and in addition the upper deck is too wide meaning it touches the motor which restricts flexing. This newly designed 2mm thick top deck is 2mm narrower (-1mm each side) to avoid touching the motor, plus extra holes provide a bit more flex in order to improve overall traction. Last weekend saw the final race in the Mazovia Model Car Championships. The biggest electric model cars racing series in Poland is organised by OSM and the final round of the series was run at a big carpet track in Piaseczno, next to Warsaw with 55 racers fought for the win in five classes. Saturday saw the on-road classes and in Modified the winner was TQ Dennis Fadtke using an Associated TC6.1. With this win Dennis also took the championship title. …Huber and Team Magic Driver Matthias Meier found a very strong setup and tried to pass Patrick on every corner. Philipp won the first final, showing his potential to the other competitors. In the second and third legs, after very hard battles, Patrick managed the overall victory by winning both of the 2 final with his TC6.1 touring car with Huber taking 2nd and Matthias Meier completing the podium with his Team Magic E4RS II. UK-based Reedy/Team Associated driver Olly Jefferies’ cars will be powered by Reedy Sonic motors for 2012.
