EFRA cancels 2020 European Championships

With the current World-wide Corona virus pandemic still causing a lot of havoc, the EFRA has announced the cancellation of five European Championships scheduled for this year. This means the 1/10th 200mm, Large Scale On-road, Large Scale Off-road, 1/8th Nitro Off-road, and 1/8th IC Track Euros will all be moved to next year, with the EFRA, the national federations and organisers trying to keep the same venues as planned for this season. Samix SCX10 III 5.8mm brass flange balls

Samix have introduced their new 5.8mm brass flanged suspension balls for the Axial SCX10 III truck. Machined from high-quality aluminum the pivot balls offer great durability and they help adding weight in some of the lowest parts of the truck. They come in sets of 10 and also fit older specification SCX10 kits as well as the Yeti, AX-10, Wraith and Scorpion.

Arena X20 2.0mm carbon fibre single side upper deck

Arena RC Racing have announced the release of their new asymmetrical single side upper deck for the Serpent X20 mid-motor touring car. Machined from high-quality 2.0mm carbon fibre the top deck will improve corner speed of the car in various track conditions due to its optimised flex characteristics. The asymmetrical design also makes for easier disassembly.

Xray XB2’20 3-slot graphite steering plates

Coming from Xray and made for their XB2’20 2WD buggies are 3-slot carbon fibre steering block extension plates. The new geometry 3-slot extensions offer an increased Ackermann steering angle which comes in handy when manoeuvring on tight and technical tracks. The plates are machined from high-quality 2.5mm carbon fibre, they come in sets of two and fit the XB2 and XT2 line of buggies and trucks.

T-Works X3GT & IGT8 alloy front FF suspension mount

T-Works have introduced an aluminium FF front lower suspension mount for the Hong Nor X3GT and IGT8 GT cars. Machined from high-quality aluminium the mount was developed for the use with composite inserts and it features machined silver edge details for looks. A black surface coating prevents the part from damage due to normal wear.

Wrap-up Next YD-2 850 bearing adapters

Coming from Wrap-up Next is a bearing adapter set for the Yokomo YD-2 drift car. The adapters allow to use 850 bearings instead of the standard 1050 ball races which can make for lighter rolling front tyres and thus improved car balance during cornering. The set includes four adapters, enough to outfit both steering knuckles.

Usukani release new PDS option parts

Coming from Usukani and made for their PDS series drift cars are several new option parts. The range includes AlTiN shock shafts in a dark finish, an 28T ceramic-coated aluminium mid gear including bearings, a 20T ceramic-coated aluminium top shaft gear as well as reinforcement plate set for front upper arms. The range is rounded out by a 30mm fan mount set. All parts are available from now on with the 28T mid gear also fitting the Yokomo YD-2 drift car.

Bittydesign airbrushes – Coming soon

Rounding out what appears to be a “coming soon” Tuesday is Italian company Bittydesign’s announcement of their own range of high-quality airbrushes. Bittydesign is known for their popular and successful line of body shells, that are also available Pro pre-painted, and full details on their first ever “air pencil” will be unveiled this coming Friday.
