RC Maker A800X fan mount

RC Maker have introduced a lightweight fan mount for the Awesomatix A800X touring car. Machined from premium 7075-T6 aluminium and coming anodised for wear, the mount can secure 30mm or 40mm fan units with no double sided tape or risk of falling off. It attaches to the spare hole located behind the motor on Awesomatix’s A800 and A800X and it weighs in at only 1g, making it the lightest, most durable solution to securing a fan.

Schumacher Mi6Evo low 46mm front suspension mounts

Coming from Schumacher and made for the Mi6Evo touring car are new low 46mm front suspension mounts. Available as 1-piece and split variant, the mounts are of a -0.5mm design which lowers the suspension shafts for more front end both and greater setup opportunities. Included in the bags are enough 0.5mm washers to get back to the standard pin height. These parts have recently been used by the team in association with the narrow front hex #U3570 to give a smooth feel yet with good steering. The mounts are available separately from now on.

Arrowmax Asia Race Cup finale – Report

The Arrowmax Asia Race Cup finale was held at the Japanese Yatabe arena with 60 drivers signing in for the four electric on-road classes. In addition to some of the countries fastest drivers, the event also saw the attendance of drivers from China, Malaysia and Singapore as these countries also hosted rounds of the Arrowmax Asia Race Cup. In the premier Touring Modified class it was a four-way battle between four manufacturers. Akio Sobue (Infinity), Naoki Akiyama (Yokomo), Jin Sawada (Destiny) and Viktor Wilck (Serpent). The closest battle was in the opening A-main when Akio Sobue, the TQ holder, was put under pressure by Naoki Akiyama. The two would fight for five minutes but Naoki did not find a way past Akio who would bring home the win in A1. A2 and A3 then saw less action up front and Akio would be able to bring home the overall win from Naoki Akiyama and Jin Sawada.

EZ Power have announced the signing of Italian Stock Bike World Champion, Matteo Bozzoni to their team. Matteo will use EZ Power’s high-performance LiPo battery packs in his campaign that will see attendances at all major races.

Xray T4 graphite 20T low-friction pulley

Xray have introduced a 20T low-friction layshaft pulley for the T4 series of cars. The belt pulley is of a distinctive orange colour and precision-moulded for roundness and reliability while the specially formulated graphite material reduces overall friction. It comes in a set of two including suitable composite shims.

Motiv Defy Grey Graphene LiHV range

Coming from Motiv is their new Defy Grey Graphene LiHV battery range. Available are four specifications including an 8400mAh standard size pack of 329g, a 6000mAh low centre of gravity standard pack of 265g, a 5000mAh shorty of 202g, and an 8200mAh 1S shorty of 150g for 1-cell applications. All are made of high-quality +100C high-voltage LiPo cells and the 2S packs feature 5mm bullet-type connectors while the 1S pack utilises 4mm tubes.

Champion Touring Series CTS3 – Announcement

For the 3rd Season, the CTS is making its way to 2018 with this time, seven rounds of racing for the points chase. Included are two new tracks in SoCal and one remodeled track in Norcal giving the series a variety of places to race. The first and second race will be on both old and new CRC carpet to start off the winter followed by asphalt to complete the series. The name has also changed for this year to Champion Touring Series allowing more racers from across the US and different parts of the world to compete. With the momentum in popularity of the CTS growing, expanding the series will make it more interesting to racers outside California. 7075.it X12 aluminium battery positioning system

7075.it from Italy have introduced their new X1201 battery positioning system for the Xray X12 pan car. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised and with silver edge details the brace allows to adjust the battery position within a 5mm range all while using existing chassis holes and at 2g the brace also hardly adds any weight to the car.
