KO Propo Advantage Capacitor C module

Coming from KO Propo is their new Advantage Capacitor C module for the use with high-performance brushless speed controllers and modified motors. The capacitor module will improve overall motor power and torque especially in the second half of a run when the battery is starting to fade, resulting in better lap times and more consistency. The capacitor module is especially recommended for the use with modified motors, it fits virtually every 1/12th and 1/10th competition brushless speed controller and it is also usable with Stock motors, however KO Propo have a dedicated spec racing capacitor range available that can be discovered here.

Alessandrelli & Schmid win at TIT Cup Rd2

The second round of the TIT Cup was held in Schöfltand, Switzerland in several electric on-road classes. In Touring Pro Stock it was Roberto Alessandrelli (Xray) with the win from the Team Magic duo of Philipp Huber and Renato Isler. Andy Huerzeler and Adrian Lüscher would round out the top 5 result. Over in the Formula class it was electric off-road specialist Nico Schmid with the win from Florian Schmid, Luca Martinelli, Bernd Georgi and Daniel Koch.

Ki Heung Kim takes Sweep Competition race

Last weekend the Sweep Competition race was held at the GRC circuit in Gimpo, in the Kyunggi province of Korea. In the Formula class it was Shepherd’s Ki Heung Kim who took the TQ honours and he would also sweep the single 10-minute A-main event, taking the win by nearly a full lap from 2nd placed Sungchul Shin (Roche) and 3rd placed DaeYoon Jung (Team Associated).

HRC Racing 68113CAR brushless high-performance servo

HRC Distribution have introduced their new HRC Racing 68113CAR high-performance brushless servo. Designed for 1/10th scale cars, the low-profile digital servo features an aluminium middle heatsink section, a short, black 90mm wire as well as a brushless motor, metal gears, double ball bearings and it pulls up to 13kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.07s, making it ideal for both on-road and off-road applications.

Blitz RS5 200mm touring car body shell

Coming from Team Titan is the new Blitz RS5 200mm touring car body shell. Designed to fit 1/10th 200mm nitro and electric touring cars the body’s design will make for a neutral handling and an easy to drive car in most track conditions. The lid is available in standard 0.8mm or lightweight 0.7mm thickness, it comes clear, including window masks, stickers and wing mounting hardware.

SMJ Silver Line R-series 1/8th on-road springs

SMJ have introduced their new Silver Line shock spring range for 1/8th on-road cars. The R-series is available in four short front and five long rear variants all of which are colour-coded for easy identification. They have already proven their performance at the recent JMRCA All-Japan nationals when all three SMJ spring-equipped cars made it into the main and as a novelty they feature a clear tube over the colour code dot to prevent the markings from being rubbed away by the tyres.

Team Associated TC7.1 arm shims & hinge pin balls

Coming from Team Associated are two new option parts for the TC7.1 touring car. First up are Factory Team suspension arm shims in 0.2mm thickness. The tuning option allows finer increment adjustments for the roll centre and the set includes four 0.2mm outer shims and eight 0.2mm inner shims that fit the TC7.1. TC7 and TC6.2. Also new are Factory Team steel inner hinge pin balls as a replacement for the machined composite part. The steel part allows the hinge pin to pivot inside, allowing more precise fitment and consistent performance. Sold in sets of eight balls, enough for one complete chassis the parts fit the TC7.1, TC7 and TC6.2.

Hellquist & van Elling win at SSIS Rd3

The recent third round of the South Swedish Indoor Series was held alongside the Middle Swedish Electric Series and the event was hosted at the Miracl facilities just outside of the small town of Åtvidaberg. The track was put together using older spec ETS Carpet with a darker gray colour, instead of the more recent black one. The traction started out low during Friday’s free practice, but came up soon. In the Touring Modified class Xray’s Markus Hellquist started off quick by winning all practice rounds, qualifiers and finals. Team Associated’s Daniel Carlsson came in 2nd as Andreas Johansson (Serpent) obtained the 3 spot on the podium.
