Made for their recently introduced CTXWP tyre warmer unit is Muchmore’s new 4200mAh 11.1V LiPo battery pack. The softcase battery is a direct fit and it allows to use the tyre warmer without mains power, something that is helpful if drivers opt to heat their car’s tyres outside of their pit space. The battery come pre-wired and it can be charged within the CTXWP main unit and without detaching the pack.

Bezerk RC M07 lowered shock tower set

Coming from Bezerk RC and made for the Tamiya M07 FWD mini are lowered carbon fibre shock towers. The standard towers are great for the intended 60D tyres but testing has found they were not ideal for smaller 55mm diameter rubber. Bezerk’s towers will give more ride-height to play with whilst still allowing enough up-travel. The towers come as set and are both made from glossy 3.0mm carbon fibre.

Prumper wins A2 from Rheinard

Yannic Prumper has won the second A-Main at the DHI Cup, the Yokomo driver taking full advantage of a bad first lap from his team-mate and Top Qualifier Ronald Volker. Off the start Volker would run wide in the first corner allowing the second place starting Prumper to go to the front but things got worse as chaos broke out in the pack with Volker being given a Stop & Go penalty.  All this played into the hands of Prumper who quickly found himself with huge advantage but once Marc Rheinard got up to speed that lead was greatly reduced with it looking like the Infinity driver had the legs to beat his fellow German.  It wasn’t to be however as a mistake by Rheinard on the penultimate lap allowed Prumper hang on for the win.  Benefiting from the first lap dramas, Viktor Wilck would complete the Top 3 just holding off Elliott Harper.

Volker hangs on to win A1

Having dominated qualifying Ronald Volker had to work a lot harder for victory in the opening A-Main at the DHI Cup, the Yokomo driver only just hanging on for the win as challenges from both Yannic Prumper and Marc Rheinard ended with them each suffering rolls. In the end Volker would cross the line over a second clear of Rheinard, but the Infinity driver had the fastest car on track and looked a much more threatening proposition than he had in qualifying, his two rolls costing him over 3-seconds.  Recovering from an early roll, that allowed Rheinard through, Elliott Harper would complete the Top 3 ahead of Viktor Wilck, with Prumper opting to pull up and save his tyres after rolling his Yokomo a second time.

Volker again in Q2

Ronald Volker picked up where he left off last night at the DHI Cup as he opened Day 2 of the event with another TQ run this morning in Denmark.  Taking Q1 comfortably over Marc Rheinard, the Yokomo driver appeared to have an even greater advantage for the second round stopping the clocks two & a half seconds up on the Schumacher of Elliott Harper even after late contact with former Champion Viktor Wilck.  Yannic Prumper would post the 3rd fastest time followed by the Xray of Markus Hellquist with Wilck fifth while Rheinard completed the Top 6 after a 4-second mistake in the latter half of the qualifier.

Volker from Rheinard in opening qualifier at DHI Cup

Ronald Volker took a convincing TQ in the opening round of qualifying at the DHI Cup, the Yokomo driver having more that 2-seconds over the Infinity of Marc Rheinard.  Having topped seeding, after a four hour break while qualifying got underway for Offroad, Volker led away the top heat pulling clear of the field.  Behind, Elliott Harper ran second on track initially but was quickly caught up by Rheinard who eventually moved by the Schumacher driver with that the order in which they would stop the clocks after the 5-minutes. Behind the Top 3 Yannnic Prumper would survive contact with Viktor Wilck to post the fourth fastest time ahead of Yokomo team-mate Christopher Krapp with Awesomatix’s Patrick Hornum completing the Top 6.

Volker fastest from Harper in DHI Cup practice

Ronald Volker was fastest in practice for this year’s DHI Cup, the Yokomo driver leading the way from the Schumacher of Elliott Harper. With the 18th running of the Danish Classic void of reigning champion Viljami Kutvonen, it was previous 7-time Champion Volker who came out of controlled practice quickest. Topping free practice, Volker wouldn’t be second quickest in the CP1 as returning Yokomo team-mate Yannic Prumper topped the times. While Prumper would repeat his time in CP2, Volker would find half a second to go to the top with Harper finding a similar improvement leaving Prumper to drop to P5 behind Marc Rheinard and former champion Viktor Wilck.
