Kawahara 1/10th 220mm GPR

…the cars easier to drive. To compliment this they have also proposed a new 220mm wide Group C bodyshell, with a GT and Saloon car also planned, and a new wider front bumper which protects the new wider car that will be available for the Mugen MTX-4 and Kyosho V-One RRR. I’m not too convinced by the idea, as a major part of the skill of racing is to be able to handle that power, and also remember that the world had a class like this already – 235mm. Wrexham win gives Johnson back to back titles

…back of his car eventually finding a way past. Cosgrove was later to join the long list of retirements as the wet conditions took its toll. Taking the win Johnson was joined on the podium by Chris Slater and Kyle Branson. In the 1:10 235mm National encounter it was European Champion Glyn Beal who took the win from Jon Withington. Mega ZX15 Small Block DSII+ engine

Serpent have announced the release of their European Championship winning small block .15 engine, the ZX15 SB DSII+. One of the few engines available for the 1/10th scale 235mm class, this high performance 5-port engine has been designed for top level competition and comes complete with taller liner, durable pistong and conrod, easy to adjust design carburettor, orange cooling head and superbly finished grey anodised crankcase. Nougier wins Euro 40+, Beal 235mm

This weekend has seen the European 1/8th scale Championships for drivers aged 40 and over, run at the AMC Hildesheim track in Germany, alongside the European 1/10th 235mm Championship. In the 1/8th scale class qualifying it was French Kyosho driver Eric Nougier that took the pole position from Serpent driver Karl Heinz Meister in 2nd, while in the 235mm class it was Belgian racer Eric D’hondt that claimed the top qualifying spot ahead of current European title holder Alain Levy in 2nd.
