Bittydesign 190mm truck body shell – Coming soon

Bittydesign from Italy have released first renderings of their forthcoming truck body shell for 190mm touring cars. A growing category around the globe, truck racing has shown to be extremely popular recently and Bittydesign’s newest body shell will be a nice addition to the existing truck lids as it offers aggressive looks combined with futuristic aesthetics and attention to detail. No definite details are available yet but the body is expected to hit stores soon.

TMG Speed S14-3 Reactor shock pistons

Coming from TMG Speed are the new Reactor shock pistons for the SWorkz S14-3 buggy. Available in 2-hole and 3-hole variants these pistons will perform better through bumps and over jumps and generally make the car easier and faster to drive.

RCON RS200 M-class body shell

RCON have released a first image of their forthcoming new RS200 rally body shell for 225mm M-type cars. Resembling the iconic Ford RS200, the shell will fit mist 225mm M-class cars such as the ones from Tamiya or Xpress with the body being moulded from high-quality polycarbonate material. It will include window masks and a decal sheet and will hit stores soon.

T-Works MBX8 & MP9 DLC coated arm shafts

Coming from T-Works are several sets of DLC-coated suspension shafts for the Mugen MBX8/7 and the Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI4/3/Evo buggies. All use the diamond-like coating that is best known from competition engine crankshafts and that makes for a hard-wearing and slick surface, ensuring long parts life and smooth suspension action. Available are front upper arm, front lower arm and rear lower arm sets for the Mugen MBX8 and MBX7 as well as front and rear sets for the Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI4, TKI3 and Evo kits.

IOCC 2018 Las Vegas – Report

The 2018 International Offroad Carpet Championship was held last weekend at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Held the week after the IIC the on-road track was added by some entertaining jump section to make for the off-road feeling and the race attracted both national and international racers. By the end of the weekend, 27,661 laps had been laid down at the 2018 IOCC and not a single one unexciting. All the classes and the racing were action packed and exciting for all the racers who participated in this event. After qualifying, it seemed like some wins were a sure thing, but main events don’t always go as predicted. Throughout qualifying and the mains, one thing that didn’t show in the 2WD Modified was a clear winner. It would take true talent to shine in this group and local Las Vegas boy Broc Champlin was shining bright. Starting with grabbing the TQ spot, Broc would take the win in the A1 main. Not to be outdone, his brother Blake Champlin was on pace behind him and would take the A2 win. So which Champlin brother take the over all win. The two would battle all the way end tone in the A3 main being separated by only 4-tenths of a second with Broc crossing the line first to take the over all win.

TLR 22 5.0 2WD buggy – Coming soon

During last weekend’s International Offroad Carpet Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada Team Losi Racing have unveiled their forthcoming TLR 22 5.0 2WD 1/10th scale buggy. The buggy makes use of the popular 22 platform and will hit stores as the AC Astro-Carpet, DC Dirt-Clay and SR Spec Racer variant all of which will offer specific features to excel in the given environment or class. On show in Vegas was the AC Astro-Carpet car that will come with everything included right out of the box to be competitive from the get-go when running on high-grip astro turf or carpet tracks. iRacing 200cc fuel gun

iRacing have introduced their new fuel gun that holds up to 200cc of fuel and dumps 135cc in just 1.5s. The gun utilises a translucent reservoir for good visibility abd a super-smooth trigger, no-leak O-rings, and an ergonomic injection-moulded pistol grip round out the package.
