Martin Bayer wins Czech nats Rd6

Martin Bayer wins Czech nats Rd6

The 6th round of the Czech 1/8th buggy nationals took place in Dolni Bukovsko. Although missing one round of the championship Xray’s Martin Bayer had good chances to win the overall championship on home soil after wrapping up this year’s German championship. The practice rounds had to be cancelled due to a water soaked track so everyone had to jump directly into qualifying and at the end it was Martin Bayer who took the overall TQ. At the start of the final Martin went out in front but soon got hit by backmarkers which cost him around half a lap and he was down to third position. He then soon recovered and was able to take the lead again. At he end he not only took the win in front of Xray teammates David Kukla and Jiří Mára but also the overall 2013 championship title.
