New from Xceed for the Serpent S811 Cobra 1/8th scale buggy is this complete set of titanium screws. Made from high grade titanium, the complete set consists of the 135 screws of different sizes and threads and are enough to convert the complete car.

This new MBX-6 toe-in plate from King Headz is CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminium and black anodized. Designed to increase rigidity and add strength, it will allow you to make 6 different toe/anti squat adjustments. By changing and flipping the inserts you can adjust 6 different combination’s from 2.5, 2.75 and 3 degree of toe-in with either zero degree of anti squat or one degree of anti squat.

Revelation Raceway hosted round 1 of the Monster Energy Summer Series last Saturday with the one day event consisting of three rounds of qualifying and the main events. In the 1/8th buggy class Adam Drake TQ’d with his Novarossi powered Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy, followed by teammate Matt Schreffler also running a Novarossi powered Losi 8ight 2.0, while Colby Poh started third on the grid with his Mugen buggy. In the final Matt used the option line to move past Adam at the start of lap one, but Adam was able to get back into the lead before the end of lap one and never looked back. The Drake won the 20 minute final by more than a lap over Colby Poh and Matt Schreffler finished third. Adam and Matt used Losi’s green compound Kingpin G2’s for qualifying and the final.
Something we missed last week, but Team Durango’s new DEX410R is now available. Sharing the same Team Durango DNA, performance and innovation as the World Championship winning DEX410, it is delivered with a more ‘regular’ specification. Tekno RC have released a whole range of new parts for the Hot Bodies D8, D8T, Ve8 and Vorza. New Stub Axles and Diff Couplers feature hardened steel, precision tolerances & snap rings ensure worry free usage. Center shaft couplers and stub axles also come with 3 sets of drive pin holes to extend the life of each part. The new lightened LCG chassis is the ultimate chassis upgrade for your Hot Bodies D8T Nitro Truggy and is 37g/1.4oz lighter than stock and features a low CG cutout design that lowers the engine and radio tray by 1mm, with the fuel tank lowered by 2mm. CNC machined from 4mm aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminium, it has been hard anodized for increased wear resistance and the under side edge has been beveled to help cruise over rough terrain.
Xray have released this 3-bearing, 10-tooth bevel drive gear for the XB808 front/rear differential. Manufactured from premium Hudy spring steel, it has been precision machined on a special gear machine and heat treated for maximum strength, durability, minimal wear and extra-long lifespan. The 3-bearing pinion gear is a direct fit into the XB808 2010-spec bulkhead, requiring use of the special collars that provide even spacing between bearings. With capturing screws tightened, both bearings are strengthened in the block so they can support more load thus improving bearing lifespan.

Tresrey have released a further batch of option parts for the Durango DEX410/R starting with this red aluminum parts set. The set includes spacers, wheel cones, servo saver shaft and more, which are all red anodized matching with all other Tresrey option parts like aluminum hubs and center drive shafts. They have also released this heavy duty hinge pin set which gives you more durability and strength as well as smoother operation due to its titanium coating. Made in Japan.

Schumacher have announced that the current batch of Cougar SV’s that have been shipping over the last few days contain some upgrades from the initial first batch. Taking in customer feedback it now features an improved layshaft design has been incorporated with an updated pulley retention pin. The transmission molding halves have also been improved and now include a 4th retention screw to provide a better seal. Many customers have not found an issue with these parts from the first batch, however if you have had a problem feel free to contact Schumacher.
