Starting 4th on the grid while going through the 12-pack, Travis was hit early and had to battle from the back of the pack.  He passed all others including former Hot Bodies team mate Jessie Robbers in the 10 minute main event to become the Nitro Challenge Electric 1/8th Champ. Bobby Tillman (Tekno/Mugen) and Tyler Vik (Tekno/Kyosho) placed 4th and 5th respectively.
