Yeah Racing have introduced a set of 5x7mm stainless steel shims. Coming in 0.1mm, 0.15mm, 0.2mm, 0.25mm and 0.3mm thickness the shims are ideal to adjust the axial movement of driveshafts and other 5mm axles on a range of vehicles. The 50-piece set includes ten shims of each thickness and it is available soon.

Robitronic from Austria have introduced their new 6S 4500mAh and 4S 5000mAh Competition LiPo battery packs. Both are made using high-quality cells, with the 6S pack offering up to 65C while the 4S battery is made using 50C cells, they measure 139x46x50mm and weigh in at 617g for the 6S and 540g for the 4S variant. Pre-soldered XT90 power connectors and XH balancer ports round out the batteries that are usable for 1/8th buggies and trucks alike.
After the missed Belgium SCT race in Merchtem in June, everyone was looking forward to this very first race organised by the Bugg’Ittre club, even more as it is the only dirt track of the calendar. The club worked hard in preparing a nice event; unfortunately the party was a bit ruined by the rain which poured down all Saturday and would come back hard at the end of qualifications on Sunday. Race director and driver representatives then agreed to call it a day as the track was becoming dangerous for marshals.

Coming from JConcepts is the Dirt Maze 1/10th buggy rear tyre in blue compound. The big brother to the Webs, the Dirt Maze tyre is designed specifically for the outdoor conditions where the track has been treated or left dry. Starting with thicker, connected webbing, the hot outdoor tyre provides a continuous edgy contact patch needed for driving outdoors and at high-speed. The center X section delivers the comfort with the forward bite and the slightly slotted portions allow some flexibility for stability over terrain. Resting inside the hefty X patterns, horizontal and vertical pins help minimise wear and add some surface area for longer qualifiers and main events. Moving toward the outside of the tyre, the alternating bar concept, used on V2 Bar Codes, support the side-load during heavy cornering at the end of straights and sweeping corners. Breaking up the alternating bars, an added horizontal bar blends deeply into the side-wall for balancing forward to side traction considerations. The 2.2″ tyre comes including Dirt Tech closed cell foam inserts.

Team Associated have introduced their new aluminium servo washers. Machined from high-quality alloy, coming black anodised and being designed for flathead screws the washers preserve the structural integrity of the servo ears while also making for a more secure servo mounting, preventing the servo from moving under load.
Capricorn from Italy have introduced a 12g balance weight for the Evo chassis of the C-03 nitro touring car. Machined out of high-quality brass the weight was designed to be placed under the gearbox shaft and it helps to up the overall weight without compromising balance. Etched markings help with easy identification and the incorporated thread helps to easily mount the weight.

Using the same “pre-built critical parts” formula and manual guidelines as the successful ECX AMP MT BTD Kit, the ECX 1.9 Barrage 4WD scaler comes with everything needed to get started, including the tools, parts, and electronics. It even comes with its differential, shocks, and wheels assembled. Perfect for the backyard, the park, desert or driveway, the kit version differs from the RTR version by the motor plate for larger 390 motors, equalling more power and torque, the kit includes longer axles and housings for less wheel scrub and better handling, an aluminium servo mount makes for more servo options, 4-point links improve articulation and stronger aluminium steering links up overall durability. The chequered flag will be waved on the 10th season of the Yokomo Euro Touring Series this weekend (28-30 July) as the championship travels for the first time to the Ettlingen track in Germany. A regular host venue of the Euro Nitro Series, Ettlingen will become the 10th different outdoor circuit to feature on the ETS calendar over its hugely successful 10 seasons of existence. The 57th race to be put on by Uwe Rheinard and Scotty Ernst since creating the championship in 2007, the Ettlingen entry includes all four of the drivers who have lifted the prestigious ETS title in that period. While Bruno Coelho already wrapped up his second consecutive Volante Modified title last month at the Hudy Arena, the racing will be no less competitive with teams looking to end their campaigns on a high note.
