Tödtmann & Römer win at West Germany regionals

Round three of the Western Germany nitro on-road regionals was held at the famous MRC Oberhausen track. 51 racers from 5 different countries made their entry for the event on a track that is known for its very high grip surface because it is mainly used by large-scale cars. Nitro-West-Masters Rd2 – Report

Frank Schewiola, Thilo Toedtmann, Marco Muscara and Thorsten Lewandowski are the class winners of round two of the Nitro-West-Masters, a popular on-road racing series mainly held in Western Germany. Three weeks after the amazing season opener in Oberhausen with a series record of 67 participants, a total of 55 drivers entered the race weekend in Dueren which made it a new record for this 232 meter track near Aachen. Nitro-West-Masters season opener – Report

…the reputation as the heart of RC racing in Western Germany, but also more than 60 drivers who completed a total of about 8000 laps in practice, made for heat on the track. During the core hours the practice was separated into 30 minutes windows for the 1/8 and 1/10 scale classes. Nitro-West-Masters – Announcement

The Nitro-West-Masters will start into its 6th season this coming weekend. On the 17th and 18th of May the first of six rounds of this popular nitro racing series, held in Western Germany and the Netherlands, will take place at the famous track in Oberhausen. The following rounds will be run in Dueren (07th/08th June), Bad Breisig (05th/06th July), Haltern (26th/27th July), Velp/NL (27th/28th September) and Dormagen (11th/12th October). Ermen, Roemer and Puepke win at West Open Rd1

…with drivers like Michael Salven, John Ermen, Steven Cuypers and Robin D’hondt attending. The TQ went to Xray team driver John Ermen from the Netherlands with 20 laps in 5:07.601 minutes which put him only 91 thousands of a second in front of Michael Salven with his Picco-powered Serpent 977 Viper. Wurst & Lenaers are 2013 Western German champs

…leader and floated with his Serpent until his engine was drowning out. The trio which was left alone in the rain was Uwe Baldes, Ralf Vahrenkamp and Martin Baumann. Martin Bayer wins German nitro buggy nats Rd1

The first of two races for the German nitro buggy nationals was run at the Oberhausen track in Western Germany. RB’s Daniel Reckward took TQ for the finals with Martin Bayer (Xray) and Carsten Keller (Kyosho) in tow. Marcel Guske (TLR) and Jörn Neumann (Team Durango) completed the top 5. Carsten Keller wins German 8th E-Buggy nats warm-up

The dirt track of the RCRT Duisburg in the western part of Germany saw a busy weekend with the 4th round of the western division regionals, the 6th round of the Brushless Cup and the German nationals warm-up all being held at one race. Nearly 70 drivers attended to tackle the hard-packed and abrasive high-traction track. Saturday saw an early free practice followed by the first qualifiers that had Mugen driver Chris Kammann dominating the field with Carsten Keller and Chris Hahlen in tow.
