Mark Green wins BRCA 200mm Rd4

The fourth round of the BRCA 200mm National Championships was run this weekend by the Cotswold Model car club on their track in Gloucestershire. Qualifying saw top Team Magic man, and round 3 winner, Darren Johnson take the top qualifying spot ahead of Serpent ace Mark Green in 2nd. At the start of the Main final Mark was knocked off the track and bumped to the back of the field as Darren pushed away at the front followed by a closing Robin Hammet driving his Xray NT1, who eventually took the lead only to drop back at the mid point…

Loukakis wins Gas open / Xray Challenge

Xray are reporting on their site from last weekends opening round of the Greek Gas Open / Xray Challenge held at the Fanatix race track. Qualifying for the event saw Xray NT1 racer Louis take the pole position ahead of team mates Halim and Antoniou in 2nd and 3rd respectively. After a very fast start for the 45min final Louis and Karabelas were fighting for 1st place. Xray release Multi-Diff for NT1

We briefly covered the multi-diff in our NT1 options round-up a few days ago, and at the time i thought it was just the same system as used in the front of the Serpent 720, and basically it is in that it allows you to run a oneway or, with the insertion of a steel pin, a solid front axle. What is unique about the multi-diff though is that is also allows you to run a solid one-way axle as well. Johnny Pastor wins 2007 TecRace

Last weekend the Adcaz club in Zaragoza played host to the 2007 TecRace, which was organised by importer TecroTec and supported by Team Magic and Team Orion. Spanish GP winner Darren Johnson, engine tuner Oscar Jansen and multiple World Champion Adrien Bertin were present for tech support and to give seminars, while Johnson was also competing at the event too and duly took put his Team Magic G4+ on the pole position for main final. Xray release lots of NT1 Optionals

Xray have updated their site with a large number of new optionals and tuning parts for their 200mm racer, the NT1. Far too many to write about individually, we have copied in some images of the main parts and we have put a link to the whole lot at the bottom of the page. Beat Walti wins Rd1 of Swiss Nats

Our partners RC Infos have a full report on last weekends first round of the Swiss Nationals that was held in Wallisellen. Qualifying saw European ‘B’ finalist Beat Walti, driving the Xray NT1, take the pole position ahead of Mattia Pesenti racing the Team Magic car in 2nd with another Xray, that of Traugott Schär lining up in 3rd. Kazuya & Syach take FEMCA titles

The 2007 FEMCA Championships are over and 2 new champions have been crowned at the JITC in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the 1/10th scale class it was Serpent 720 racer Teddy Syatch that came out on top with a 4 lap advantage over Singapore Kyosho racer Philip Lee, while Xray NT1 racer Sadikan came home in 3rd. Pole position sitter, Japanese racer Ken Furukawa, racing for Kyosho, had a difficult race and came home in 5th.
