Jessica Palsson wins at Middle Swedish Cup Rd4

Round 4 of the Middle Swedish Cup was held at the Eskilstuna track last weekend. Serpent’s Pontus Larsson would take the overall TQ after coming out on top in Q2 and Q3 as Q1 winner, Jessica Palsson would snatch the runner-up spot after the 1/8th Nitro Buggy qualifiers. After the semifinals it was Jessica Palsson with the pole position for the 30-minute A-main event as Elias Johansson came in 2nd and Pontus obtained P3 on the grid after a troublesome semifinal. At the start of the main final the three pulled away from the field and had a long fight for the top, however things would spread a bit as Pontus dropped down the field by the first round of pitstops but he was able to close the gap on Jessica again when his concentration came back by about mid-race. Ultimately however it was Jessica who brought home the win as Pontus was able to secure the runner-up spot despite running out of tyres in the closing stages. A lap down it was Kristian Johansson who would round out the overall top 3 result. With his 2nd place finish Pontus was able to secure himself the Middle Swedish Cup title for 2019.
