Kyosho Outlaw Rampage Desert Racing Truck

Following earlier teasers, Kyosho have finally introduced the new Outlaw Rampage Desert Racing Truck. Bringing a new dimension to R/C cars which incorporates real truck components in a 2WD scale truck. With a new chassis designed from the ground up, the underbody features double wishbone suspension on the front with a link system suspension on the rear in combination with the long stroke of high volume aerating oil shocks to deliver a standard of performance worthy of a 2WD trophy truck. Heavy-duty drive system realises high durability and reliability and is designed to handle high loads with its 32-pitch counter gear and diff gear with slipper clutch to manage sudden load changes from landings etc. With a power centre combination consisting of the newly developed ‘G15’ brushed motor and large capacity Vortex WP Brush ESC 45A, the dynamic performance of the Outlaw Rampage is matched by its stunning 1970-80’s trophy truck style with pre-cut and painted body with decals applied.

Savoya wins Rd5 to take French Title

Last weekend the TSAR held the fifth and final round of the French National Elite. A fantastic track and a wonderful event, in qualifying Reno Savoya battled with Tom Robin but in the end Reno took 4 out of the 5 rounds compared to 1 for Tom. The overall title was to be decided in this last final between Reno, Jerome and Yannick Aigoin. Rayan Medjoubi took the early lead, but following some issues Reno was able to take over the lead where he would stay to the end as Yannick Aigoin took 2nd in front of Eliot Marcon. Savoya’s win, a fifth podium finish from 5 races for the TLR/RC Concepts driver saw him clinch the overall championship for the second time in a row.

Samix Wraith steering knuckles & brass flange balls

Two new items from Samix, starting with new steering knuckle arms for the Axial Wraith. Available in 4 different colours, it comes supplied with a high quality POM bearing adapter and all parts have a nice silver chamfer. Second new item are 5.8mm flange balls made from high quality brass material that offer durability and long life. Suitable replacements for the factory plastic Axial AX 80018 ball studs and therefore they can be used on the Axial SCX-10 2, SCX-10, Yeti, AX-10, Wraith etc. Each pack contains 10pcs.

Bittydesign Agama A215 Force body shell

Bittydesign have to release the all new Force body shell for the Agama A215/A215SV 1/8 buggy. Featuring that Force bug line look, the shell has been optimised to have improved front downforce and steering response. The rear of the body is characterised by a generous strip that significantly increases the downforce, ensuring greater traction and an increase of the air flow towards the wing.

T-Works MP9 TKI4 brass weights

More new items from T-Works with the release of three new brass weights. Available in 10g, 20g and 30g, each of the weights is equipped with two screws that can be used on the T-Works 7075-T6 black hard coated aluminium chassis for the Kyosho MP9 TKI4.

Paparegas Tasos takes Rd3 in Greece

The 3rd round of the Greek 1/8 nitro buggy Nationals was held at the Hobbytech track Serres. Paparegas Tasos with his Xray/FX combination won again after a very good performance in qualification that allowed him to start from the first position following tough competition with Terzis. The battle for the lead in the 45 minute final was between Tasos and Alex Anapoliotakis. Despite Tasos having some electronic issues from the 22nd minute he still managed to take the finish flag a lap ahead of 2nd place Anapoloitakis.

Imbue P3.5 X-Rings shock seals

Another new product from Imbue who have released their P3.5 X-Ring shock seals. Standard JIS sizing fits 1/8th vehicles that utilise P3.5 seals, including the Mugen MBX7, Kyosho MP9, Associated RC8B3, Xray XB8 and others utilising 3.5mm shock shafts. Made from synthetic rubber, they will not experience the dreaded silicone swell and will provide consistent performance from beginning to end. Due to the double seals, X-Rings feature a much lighter sealing pressure and offer reduced stiction and much freer, smoother shock. Available now in sets of 8.
