T-Works B6 series C-hub bushings & POM shock parts

T-Works have introduced a range of option parts for Team Associated’s all-new B6-series buggies. First up are several C-hub bushings to fine-tune the steering knuckle height within the C-hub. Available are three different sets; the first one offers two 0 and +3 settings, the second one includes two +1 and +2 bushings and the third includes four +1.5 bushings. Also available is a full set that comes with all of the above. The bushings are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, the even types sport a black anodising while the 1.5 parts come with a blue surface treatment. All bushings have machined markings for easy recognition. Also new and made for both the B6 and B5 series buggies are a POM shock shaft guide and a shock cap bushing set. The shock shaft guide set includes a range of machined bushings to replace the standard ones while the shock cap bushing kit includes a total of eight pivot balls.

Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming XT2 1/10th scale 2WD stadium truck kit. It is understood that the vehicle is based off of the XB2 line of buggies but no other information is available at this time. Expect detailled images and all information in the truck’s specification and features to be released soon.

ProTek 170SBL Black Label high speed brushless servo

Coming soon from ProTek is the new 170SBL Black Label high speed brushless servo. The high-voltage compatible servo features a black anodised aluminium heatsink case for improved heat dissipation and a reduced weight, it utilises a metal gear train and pulls up to 38.5kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.08s. Furthermore the dual ball-raced servo comes with detachable receiver wires of 135mm and 285mm and it is usable for both 1/8th and 1/10th scale applications.

PR Racing ST1V3T 1/10th mid motor racing truck

PR Racing have released first images of their forthcoming ST1V3T 1/10th scale mid motor racing truck kit. The vehicle builds on a touch yet lightweight aluminium chassis, it features composite front and rear shock towers, threaded aluminium big bore shock absorbers as well as a laydown transmission. The kit will also include carbon fibre Ackermann plates for the front steering knuckles, a carbon fibre upper deck and battery mount as well as rear aluminium suspension mounts. More information will become available in time for the release.

TLR 22 3.0 LRC +30g brass hinge pin brace

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new +30g hinge pin brace for the TLR 22 3.0 2WD buggy. Machined from heavy brass material and coming laser-etched for easy identification the part adds 30g of weight in front of the rear axle, making for improved bump track handling while allowing to adjust weight bias at the same time. The part is a direct fit and it uses the standard suspension pin inserts.

Nicolas Bregante TQs & wins Speed Paradise race

The Argentinian Speed Paradise race was recently held at the venue of the 2012 IFMAR World Championships and the opening round of the Metropolitan Championship attracted a good amount of drivers that divided into the four classes of Buggy Pro, Buggy Master, Buggy Open and Truggy Master. In the Buggy Pro class it was Nicolas Bregante to take the TQ and win from Sebastian Recio and Lucas Pons. Buggy Master had Matias Lence coming out fastest in the 30 minute final from Damian Li Fraine and Diego Baigorri while in Buggy Open it was Juanba Calens to take the day’s win from Gonzalo Bat and Maxi Lence. Finally in Truggy Master it was Matias Diaz who took the winning honours while Dante Covino and Adrian De Luca had to settle for second and third.

MIP SCTE 17mm Hex Adapter kit +3mm offset

MIP have introduced the 17mm Hex Adapter kit with +3mm offset for the TLR Ten-SCTE 4WD short course truck. It allows to use 1/8th scale buggy wheels on the truck, greatly expanding the usable wheel and tyre range especially for bashers and any very-high-power appliction. Originally introduced with MIP’s Pro8 kit the hubs, made from 7075-T6 aluminium, will fit all SCTEs, from 1.0 up to the latest 3.0, and their heavy duty construction allows the use of up to 4S power. The set included four hex hubs, four 17mm wheel nuts and mounting grub screws.

Team Associated B6 brass under battery weights

Coming from Team Associated and made for the B6 buggy are new brass under battery weights. The plates fit under the LiPo battery pack, allowing to add weight at one of the lowest points of the chassis, resulting in improved handling and stability on high-grip surfaces. Each set contains a 26g and a 43g weight both of which are laser-etched for easy identification.
