JConcepts TLR 22 3.0 S2 Worlds bodyshell

JConcepts TLR 22 3.0 S2 Worlds bodyshell

JConcepts have introduced the S2 Worlds bodyshell for the TLR 22 3.0 buggy. The follow-up version of the popular Silencer body rocks some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body while carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with and tight fit and finish. The body, available in a regular and lightweight variant, is built to accommodate the TLR laydown transmission, giving all out performance. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks and decal sheet and it includes two 6.5″ Finnsiher rear wings.

The Dash for Cash race was held at Dialed In RC Raceway over the weekend. TLR’s Tanner Denney made a clean sweep in Pro Buggy and E-Buggy to walk away with a double win after also taking the TQ position in both classes. In E-Buggy Tanner was sidelined by Mugen’s Adam Drake with whom he was tie on points after the double A-mains but the tie-breaker handed Tanner the overall win while Adam had to settle for second. In third Anthony Westergaard (Tekno) completed the podium result. In Pro Buggy two runner-up spots would hand Mugen’s Adam Drake the runner-up from Team Durango’s Travis Amezcua in third. Elsewhere in 1/8th Nitro Truggy it was again Tanner to take the top qualifier position. Following a win in A1 Denney suffered a mechanical issue in A2 with the 10th place in the leg led him drop to fourth overall. Up front Adam Drake grabbed the winning honours, coming from the 3 spot, in front of Carlos Arredondo and Tyler Brown.
