DE Racing MP9 & MBX-6 Skid plates

We’ve covered a number of skid plates from DE Racing and today they have released versions for the Kyosho Inferno MP9 and Mugen MBX-6 (above) buggies. Made of ultra thin resin, eliminating the need for longer screws, the plates provide protection for your expensive 1/8th scale buggy or truggy chassis. Speed Passion Inferno BL conversion kit

Speed Passion have released their 1/8th scale brushless conversion for the Kyosho Inferno buggy and truggy chassis’. Comprising of Motor mount, motor plate and battery cases the kit can be quickly and easily put into the chassis. To power the car you will need the company’s Silver Arrow motor with 5 mm shaft together with the 32 pitch steel pinion gear, available in 11 – 14T. Ryan Lutz dominates RC X-Games

…would average more than 4.3 seconds faster per lap than second place Michael Paige, also running an ST-RR. Brandon Rohde and Kendall Welch finished third and fourth respectively, giving Kyosho a sweep of the podium plus. The RC X-Games also featured a “Last man standing” event, which was reduced to a demolition derby at its end, a big air contest, and a two-hour, three-man endurance. Kendall Welch scored top honors with his 777WC, showcasing the durability of the Inferno, while Lutz, Rohde, and Welch also teamed up for the endurance, taking top honors in yet another event. Kyosho Inferno GT High Speed Gears

New from Kyosho, for the automatic two-speed transmission in the Inferno GT, is this new gearing which promises to take speed to a whole new level. The transmission features a 21/40T second gear combination, which gives your GT a 6.3:1 final drive ratio in second gear, up from 7.49:1 in the original GT gearing. That translates to an increase in top speed and less wear and tear on the engine because it doesn’t have to rev so fast to achieve a class-leading top-speed. The GT gearing is easily capable of 55 mph and speeds upwards of 70 mph or more…

Some more new connectors to complete the range from Much More who have just released a series of servo extension wires and mini connectors. First up are some replacement servo lead with male or female connectors for Sanwa, Airtronics, JR, Hitec and Futaba servos with heavy duty wire for high load applications, ideal for upgrading your existing servo wire to reduce voltage drop. They can be custom trimmed to reduce wiring lengths for neat installations and have pre-soldered ends for a perfect connection.
