…A-main. At the start of the 45 minute A-main final Herfried took the lead followed by Mihelic who was already in second place after the first couple of minutes. Herfried was able to manage the gap on Nejc but the latter was on a different fuel strategy with one pit stop less but it was unexpected tyre wear on Herfried’s car that made things interesting again towards the end. Ultimately Nejc Mihelic (ARC) was able to pass Herfried Pucher (ARC) for the win while Rene Pflanzl (Infinity) rounding out the podium in third. Thanks to Nejc Mihelic for the report….

…so close however, as Callum took round two by only 2/10’s of a second from Jonny would prove. Tony Truman was having a low key day, but he was still in the main final and would be a threat come final time. …lead again only to suffer a flameout due to a stone hitting the engine’s flywheel two minutes before the first pit stop. The flameout send Pelle dead last but after five laps he was in the lead again but he had to go for one additional pit stop compared to leader Nikolai Lamberts. Two laps before the end Nikolai lost 9 seconds which allowed Pelle to overtake him two turns before the finish line, handing him the second win of the weekend. Cox have introduced a range of pit accessories such as an aluminium parts tray, a rebound gauge and a chassis stand. Starting with the parts tray, it is made of 6061 aluminium and offers an expandable design with different trays can be connected to one larger one. An attachment allows to measure screw or linkage lengths, screw diameters and the five holes also take bullet-type connectors while soldering. …be a battle. Efficiency and strategy would come into play. Sunday main day arrived and the talk around the pits was all about tire strategy for the 45 minute final. Out of the top drivers Chris Tosolini was the only one rolling out on harder tires and confident in being able to make the duration of the final without a change.
