Arnaud then took the lead in the first lap of the 45-minute main final, eventually opening the gap on his competitors during the first part of the race, but he had to let it back to Anthony after the tyre pit stops as he had to have his car’s second gear pinion replaced. The recent Spanish 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring regionals saw Mugen’s Jonnhy Pastor walking away with the win. Starting from the 2 spot into the A-main Jonnhy put his car in the lead already in the second corner only to loose it some five or six laps later due to clutch problems. But after the first round of pit stops Jonnhy was back in third and soon after he was also promoted into second, allowing him to challenge team mate David Belen (mugen). Some guys were planning on doing a tyre change such as Mark Green, he had a few problems during his tyre change, so Thurston and Hagberg got into 2nd and 3rd with Branson still leading from about the 10 minute mark looking very comfortable. …first pit stop. Jared was able to keep a good pace and run really clean, pulling away some and getting a gap. Having a pit strategy of 9 minutes, Tebo had plenty of extra fuel after each stop, so he could just focus on driving. Putting in a very clean 45 minutes, crashing only one time on the challenging track, he took the win by 3 laps.
